Chapter 3 "Parents"

Y/N POV:

I expect to wake up in Henry's arms, but NOPE! I wake up to some random nurse staring at me! "AHH! What the hell!" I yell in fright.

"Language child! Oh and you can head back to PE after I ask you a question. You only blacked out for 10 minutes." I nodded waiting for her question. "Honey, how did you get that nasty scar?" I freeze. She washed off my makeup. 'Shit. I'm doomed.' I quickly get up and run out of there. I can tell the nurse is yelling for me to come back but I keep running till I see the gym. I quickly catch my breath and walk-in. I quickly lock eyes on two boys who quickly run up to me and hug me tight. 

"Y/N! Your ok!" Yells Ralph,

"Y/N you scared the living hell out of us!" Yells Henry. I quickly hug them back and thank them. I walk up to my older cousin. He gives me a bone-crushing hug and asks me if I'm alright. I nod even though I'm not. I quickly sit in between Henry and Ralph because they make me feel safe. They're like my bodyguards. After stretching and exercising, we played a little game of dodge ball. After school, I ran into Henry and a little boy with blonde hair.

"Hey, Henry!" They both look over at me, smiling. 

"Hey Y/N! Do you live around here?" I nod.

"Awesome!" Yelled the small boy. Henry told him to shut up, which made me giggle. Henry started to blush at my action. We start to talk about random shit until I look at the time. I was late.

"Shi- I mean shoot. I gotta go, see you guys later!" I yell over my shoulder. I quickly run home, getting ready for my punishment. I walk up to my doorstep. I unlock the door and enter the living room.

"Y-Y/N? Where were *hic* you?" Askes M/N or my mom.

'Great, their drunk.' "I w-was tal-" I was cut off by getting whacked in the face with a broken bottle.

"That's w-what you *hic* get for being *hic* late!" Yells D/N or my dad. I quickly apologize and run upstairs. I quickly text my friends (B/F, Ralph, Henry)

Today 8:00 pm

Y/N: I'm running away. I'll be at the school park if you need me.

B/F: Shit. What did your parents do this time?

Henry: What is happening?

Ralph: Y/N? Why are you running away?

 I turn off my phone. I quickly pack 5 huge water bottles, food, blankets, and my portable phone charger in my F/C backpack. I unlock my window and sneak out, leaving my window unlocked for when I come back in. I get to the park fairly quickly. I quickly look at my phone.

Today 8:20 pm

Y/N: I made it safe and sound

B/F: I'm on my way

Henry: same

Ralph: Same

'They are all coming? Wow, I have awesome friends' I soon see a boy with a black duffle bag wearing a red hoodie. "Ralph?" I ask, the boy quickly looks at me and runs over. 

"Hey, I got here as fast as I could." I nodded in thanks. "Can you tell me why you ran away?"

"I'll tell you guys when B/F and Henry get here." He nodded in agreement. After a while, we start to see them. "Hey, guys. Glad you got here safe." They nodded.

"Ok, so what did your parents do this time?" Asks B/F in concern.

"Lemme tell Ralph and Henry about my parents first." She/he nodded in agreement. "My parents are alcoholics. We moved here because this town had the best clubs and bars. They have been getting drunk and more abusive than before. So that's why I'm running away."

"If your parents are abusive, can't you just live with your cousin?" B/F asked. Henry and Ralph nodded in agreement.

"I would, but he has a family to take care of. I don't wanna mess that up." We all went silent. A couple of minutes passed until I heard a *Ding* from my phone.

Today 9:00 pm

Asshole: Come home now. We know you aren't home. Dad and I are going to find you if you don't come home.

"Shit! They found out I'm gone." I start to panic. They never found out I went missing. NEVER.

"Hey hey! Calm down! You can live at my place." B/F said in excitement.

"I would but you have three siblings. I don't want to put more pressure on your mom." 

"Oh..."

"Just... all of you, call your moms. I have an idea." 

*TIME SKIP*

I knock on the door, waiting for my mom to answer. "WHERE THE HE- Oh, hello ladies! May I help you?" M/N said in a cheery voice. All the mom's where pissed at her. I told them what happened 😏

"Are you abusing your daughter Ms. L/N?" Asks Ralph's mom. (last name if you don't know)

"W-what? Of course not! I would never hurt her....."

"Lies, she will now be living with us.  Y/n sweety, go pack your things and meet back at the car." I nodded and went inside. I would now be living with Henry's family because they have an extra guest room for me to sleep in. I quickly packed all my thing including my makeup. Even though I'm still a beautiful bitch, it doesn't mean I can't have makeup. I quickly run downstairs, past my drunk dad and mom, and get outta there. I hop in the car and Henry's mom starts driving away. I am finally getting out of that abusive house of mine. Forever.
