Chapter 5 "Purple Hand Gang"

Y/N POV:

We all ran into the classroom before getting yelled at Ms. Battleaxe. "NO RUNNING CHILDREN!" we giggled at her comment. We all sat down. I still had to sit next to EX/N. Thankfully, he didn't bother me. After class was lunch and recess. I went to my backpack to grab my lunch. "Shit, I forgot it." Great, I wasn't that hungry anyway though. I was about to sit down at a table until some girls came up to me. "Hey, you must be the new girl. Come sit with us." It was Margaret. Moody Margaret. When I was about to decline, Henry, Ralph, and Al walked up to me. 

"She is sitting with us, not with you snobby girls." Hissed Henry. Ralph and Al nodded in agreement. Margaret looked angry, she grabbed me by the shoulders and started to drag me. Ralph stopped her midway by grabbing my hand, which made me wince in pain. Ralph dragged me over to our table and sat me down.

"She sits with us," Ralph said. He looked annoyed. I quickly glance at Henry and point at my hands. He motions me to follow him while Ralph, Al, Margaret, and Susan are arguing over who I would sit with. My hands looked horrible. Blood smeared all over my hands while bleeding through the bandages. Henry cleaned my wounds and put new bandages on my hands. 

"Thank you, Henry. Oh! I forgot to give you something!" I quickly take it out of my pocket. The homework. Henry looks in shock when it has his name on it.

"Oh Y/N. You didn't have to do this." I place the homework in his hands and he shoves it in his pocket. We quickly head back to the cafeteria and find Ralph and Al looking everywhere for us. We quickly sit at our table giggling. They really look worried and we were sitting at our table eating, or at least Henry was. They finally see us and sit back down. "Y/N... why don't you have lunch." I freeze.

"Uhhhh. I'm not hungry?" Of course, they don't believe me. They all give me bits of their lunch which I happily eat it and thank them. Then I see Margaret walking over. 'Great, Miss Bossy pants is coming over again.'

"Y/N. I have a question for you." I nod, waiting for her question. "Would you like to join our Secret club?"

"What do you do in your 'Secret Club'?"

"Well, we have tea parties and dress up in pink and do ladylike stuff." (I'm sorry if you do like that stuff). I laugh, which makes Margaret angry. "W-what's so funny?!" She was now red. 

"You think I like that stuff Miss Bossy pants? Cause I don't!" I yell.  'Shit, why did I say that!' Margaret looks at me in shock. So do the boys.

"You will pay." Then the girls walk away. I look over at the boys and then they start whispering. 

"Ok, what the hell are you guys talking about?" I say annoyed. They all nod, not paying attention to what I said.

"We would like you to join our Purple Hand Gang. You have proven us you are worthy to join." Ralph and Al nodded in agreement. 

"Well, does it involve 'Tea Parties' and 'Dressing up'?" They all shake their heads. "Then I'm in!" They cheer and dance a little before hugging me. I giggled and hug them back.

*RING*

"Welp time for class. RACE YA!" I yell over my shoulder. 

"Y/N!"
