"OPHELIA Dawn Parks, do you take this man to be your husband? To love and to hold till death do you part?"

Her lips curved into a smiled as she nodded slowly. "I do."

The minister looked to Finnick and spoke again. "Finnick Owen Odair, do you take this woman to be your wife? To love and to hold till death do you part?"

He squeezed her hand. "I do."

"With the power invested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride." Finnick grabbed Ophelia by the waist and kissed her passionately.

The crowd clapped and cheered loudly as they pulled apart, both of them grinning widely. Finnick then took Ophelia by the hand and together, they walked down the aisle with the biggest grin you'll ever see.

Four years later

Ophelia sat on the ground, playing with the long, green grass beneath her. She closed her eyes and listened to the sound of the wind blowing around her, it was so calming and almost therapeutic to her.

The sun was hot on her skin, but she didn't mind it. To be completely honest, she enjoyed it because there was something about the warm feeling that the sun gave off that made her burst with serotonin.

A scream coming from behind her caused her to jump. She spun around, horrid memories flooding her mind.

A sigh of relief escaped from her mouth when she saw Maggie running down the hill with Finnick chasing close behind her.

Her husband finally caught their daughter then scooped her up in his arms. "She's pretty fast, huh?" He said as he sat down beside her, Maggie squirmed in his arms until he let her go.

Once she was out of his arms she ran away and straight to the field of flowers ahead of them.

"Before you know it, you won't be able to catch her anymore, Finn." She laughed and leaned on Finnick's shoulder, watching her daughter pick the pink and yellow tulips.

Finnick places his hand on Ophelia's stomach. "Has he been kicking anymore?" She nodded with a smile.

"All morning."

Finnick smiled and kissed his wife on the lips. "I love you." He whispered into her skin.

"I love you too." She murmured and Finnick pulled away, grabbed her hand, and squeezed it gently.

The two watched as their daughter ran up to them with tulips in her hands. She gave both of them one and then sat down on Ophelia's lap. The brunette looked down at Maggie, and then back up at Finnick, a grin forming on her face.

Suddenly, a thought she never even considered before crossed her mind—maybe, just maybe, after everything horrible and traumatizing that they've been through, they'd be okay.

Ophelia beamed. She had never felt this way before. In fact, she used to think she'd never find happiness, but now that she had Finnick, Maggie, and the little one on the way, happiness didn't seem so impossible now.
