Pacing the guest bedroom, I felt even more nervous. I don't even think I felt this nervous while taking my finals. I just went to class and took them. It was a piece of cake. But, now that i'm about to do it, I am freaking out. I groaned. I should have planned this out way better.
Five days ago, I thought I had it in the bag. I mean I had everything planned out. There was nothing for me to worry about, especially about my exams. I was even studying with Faith at the library. She was a nervous wreck, trying to understand all her material. She passed her midterms, so now she was aiming even higher. As for me, I just needed to pass. My grades would stay great, no matter what I scored.
It was five days before Christmas and I was staring at Faith as she scribbled her notes. It was adorable how frustrated she was getting. Don't forget beautiful. She didn't seem to notice I had been watching her for the last half hour. She was just so perfect.
"Will you please stop staring?" Faith mumbled. I chuckled, earning glares from all those around us. I rolled my eyes. Some people are pathetic.
"You're just too gorgeous." I smirked. Faith's cheeks reddened. I loved making her squirm. "We should take a break to pack for our trip."
"Ugh. I don't have time to think about going home." Faith whispered. I sighed. She had been putting packing off because she wanted to study more. I'm sure she had read over all the material numerous times that she could recite it word for word. She needed a break. She deserved one.
"Tomorrow is the last day of finals. I'm pretty sure you are going to ace them all. Now, come on. We need to leave this building. We've been here since nine this morning." I said. She looked at her phone, noticing it was nearing evening.
"Okay. Fine. I'm starving." Faith said. I smirked. I knew I could convince her.
"What do you want for dinner?" I asked. She shrugged. Sliding my belongings into my backpack, Faith followed me out of the library. "Let's get burgers and fries."
"Sounds good." Faith said. She began to text on her phone. I rolled my eyes but wrapped my arm around her shoulder. She snuggled into me as I steered her passed people. I am sure she'd crash into anyone or anything. She almost hit a bench yesterday. She had been memorizing her flash cards.
"Did you tell your mom what time we are landing?" I asked. She nodded. Too busy texting. She was probably talking to Aly. Her and Wes had said they loved each other and now Aly was freaking out about bringing Wes home for Christmas. I was tired of all her freak outs, but at least Wes and Justin would be in Alabama with me. I guess there was a good thing about Alyson. Don't let her know that.
"I love you." I said to Faith. She stopped walking, finally looking up from her phone. She smiled bright. Her blue eyes twinkled with happiness as she peered into my own.
"I love you too." She giggled. Lifting onto her toes, she placed her lips on mine. I savored her taste, knowing I could do this forever. Hopefully, that came true soon. She then left my lips and gave me a stern look. "Now stop distracting me, so we can grab our food and go pack."

It was now three days until Christmas. We were on a plane to Alabama. I had never been to the south before, except for Texas. I was intrigued by the wildlife I had read about. I also saw that Bluebell, the city Faith is from, has less than 500 people. It was one of the smallest towns there. No wonder everyone knew everyone.
My mom wasn't too happy about this trip, but I told her what I was doing and she agreed. As long as we go home for New Year's. She suggested we see the ball drop from Times Square. I was up for it, especially because Zac had been pestering me about coming. He said he missed me, but I think he was just surrounded by too much estrogen. I'm sure everyone was at their house for Christmas. Blake, Asher, and Carlos probably had a game to be at, leaving him alone.
