AN: It may seem like the story development is taking a long time. I just want to hope we all understand the characters and get acquainted before the plot twist😊. Welcome back.

University of Lagos
Ada had just finished her post utme exam which was slated for 9am. The exam was supposed to last for an hour or less.
But knowing the state of the country and how things are never done on time, the exam didn't start until 12pm. There was a large crowd waiting to still write exams after she was done. That wasn't the only center for the exam if you were wondering. At least there were 3 different places on the campus where the exam was being conducted. The CITS, The Distance Learning Institute(DLI), and ETC located at Faculty of social sciences.
Ada's center was at ETC. Rose had already informed her she would be waiting for her at the complex opposite the faculty. It was 2pm by the time she was done with her exam. She wondered if Rose would still be waiting. The wait would have been a long one then, and Rose happened to be with her phone so there was no means of calling her.
She got into the complex only to find Rose in the midst of set of students wearing black and white also like she had on. She guessed they must be her course mates.
She walked quickly across the complex to where they were standing. Rose introduced her to the course mates, and said her goodbyes.
''We should get something for you to eat,you must be famished'', Rose said as they made their way out of the complex.
''I'm sorry I took so long'', Ada said with an apologetic look.
''Haba,it's not your fault nah. You think I don't know this is how they waste time in this school. Even during school exams,it is no different'', she replied.
''Anyways, thanks for waiting still'',Ada said laughing at what Rose had said.
They stopped at New Hall where Rose's hostel was situated and got food before proceeding to her room at Madam Tinubu Hall (popularly called MTH).
So Ada what hostel would you like to stay in when admitted.
She had to give it up to Rose. She looked wide eyed. This girl was more optimistic about this admission than she had ever been. Imagine her talking about hostels when she had just finished her exam that day.
''Well,I haven't given it so much thought yet as to if I would stay on campus'', Ada replied.
''You should really, that's how you get the full experience of university life here''; Thelma, one of Rose's roommates chipped in.
''Please let her know, life shouldn't be just a routine. After all you have never stayed away from home before, how do you tend to cope after University and all that''. That was Rose talking.
''There's NYSC where I would be posted outside Lagos obviously,so there's no biggie'', Ada responded.
''It's better you start now and get used to staying on your own and away from parents'',Thelma said. She was a student of Surveying and Geo-informatics. She seemed like a nice and intelligent person with the way she spoke.
''Okay, I have heard you guys. I hope my admission pulls through first'', Ada said resigning with a shrug.
2 weeks later.
The Ike's residenceIf his joy could be seen, then it would have covered the whole mansion where he lived. To say he was happy was the least.
He had just gotten an email about his result and he had passed. Registrations were to start immediately as classes would begin pronto.
