CHAPTER 2 | MY FIRST TROUBLE

I waited for my school bus to arrive; suddenly I got a text message from our school bus driver and he said "The bus got towed 'cause the engine couldn't start. I already texted your parents, just head to school on your own."

Then my dad prepared the car and he brought me to school and when we arrived I was 10 minutes late so I ran to my classroom and I saw our Math teacher, Mr. Michael, and he asked me "Why are you late Mr. Anderson?" "The school bus got towed because the engine couldn't start and my dad brought me here." Then he said to me to take a sit, and I opened my bag and I took my notebook off the bag and started to take down notes. When the school bell rang, Sophie called me and we went straight to the cafeteria. Then while we are in the cafeteria, we saw Antony the troublemaker, then he saw me looking at him and he said "You want to say anything kiddo?" "Uhmm... No..." I was scared that time 'cause I don't want to be involved to any kind of trouble. Then he pushed me onto the table and our Principal, Mr. Rodriguez saw me lying on the floor then he asked "What's all this commotion about?" Then Antony said "He tried to punch me sir, I just pushed him so that he can't punch me!" I was about to talk back so I can tell the truth but Mr. Rodriguez said "You two, need to go to my office and I will talk to you both.

I was so ashamed because it happened right in front of Sophie and I couldn't help myself in that kind of situation. Well, Anthony and I went to the Principal's Office, and then Mr. Rodriguez started asking us some questions. He started asking me because he only heard the side of Anthony. "What happened? Did you really intend to punch Anthony?" "No sir, I was just looking at him that time." I replied, the Mr. Rodriquez said, "Anthony, then why did you said that William intended to punch you?" "It is true sir, he really intend to punch." Anthony replied. Then I said, "Sir, if you want to know the truth, you can review the CCTV right there on your computer or you can call my friend, she is a witnessed, she knew the truth." "I am going to review the CCTV so that I know the truth." He immediately opens his computer and opened the CCTV so that he can review the footage. He saw what happened and he now knows that Anthony is the one who started the fight. He immediately sent Anthony to detention and he sent me back to my classroom so that I can continue my class.

When I came back to my room, it was already our English class. Ms. Green saw me entered the room, and she yelled at me and asked me, "Where have you been Mr. Anderson?" "I got sent to the principal's office because Anthony pushed me and Mr. Rodriguez interrogated us." I replied. After I explained on what happened, Ms. Green continued to her class and I handed down my homework I did.

I sat down on my place then Sophie asked me, "Are you alright?" "Yes, I'm fine, thank you for asking." I replied. After a few minutes, I saw Anthony by our door and staring at me like he wanted to punch me on the face. So, I look away as if nothing happened and I started talking to Sophie for it is not obvious that I looked at him a second ago. After a few minutes of talking, I texted my dad and told him to pick me up by 2:50 PM so that I can ride the car immediately so I can avoid contact with Anthony.

The bell rang at exactly 3:00 PM and dad isn't here yet, I got worried because Anthony might see me and I can get into trouble. I saw Anthony walking towards the exit and I immediately hid on the bushes and while Anthony is right beside the bush I was hiding, I accidentally screamed because the bush that I hid in was full of thorns, I got thorns all on my arm, legs even on my face. When Anthony saw me, he humiliated me in front of the people, so my friends immediately helped me get out of the bush and brought me to the clinic.

When I got out of the clinic, I saw dad waiting for me. Well, when he saw me, he got shocked because of the bandages all over my body. "What happened son?" He asked. "Well... Uhmm... I jumped on the bush and I didn't know that it was full of thorns." Then I just smiled at him then he said "Get in the car."

While driving back home, dad asked me what really happened. I told him about what happened including the one that Anthony pushed me onto the tables and got ashamed because Sophie was there and the most shaming part is when she saw me Anthony humiliated me in front of the people and Sophie saw me being humiliated.

Well, when we got home, surprisingly all of my friends were there including Sophie, and mom got shocked when she saw me. She asked, "What happened to you? Why do you have those bandages?" I told her the story, well, I thought my friends told her the story but they didn't. The reason why my friends were there waiting for me is because they were worried about me. I got touched because they didn't forget about me after what happened in school.

When I changed my clothes, I entertained my friends and Sophie told me to sit right next to her. Well, my heart beats faster again and my face becomes to blush. Mom and dad saw me sitting right beside my crush, and then they even took a picture of us while we are busy on talking. After a few minutes, my friends left and mom called me and showed me the picture that they just took a while ago. I was surprised of that, and I said to my mom to print it for me so that I can put it on a picture frame. When mom printed it, I immediately walked inside my room and put it on the picture frame and I didn't know that I was staring at it for hours until I fell asleep.
