one of my own stories-

It was a family gathering, my dad was chatting with my aunt from new York. I was terrified to say the least, I've never been a social person , my dad tried to make me a social butterfly. let's just say it didn't work, when I'm around to many people of freak out or freeze up. My uncle was talking about how I need to talk more, and be more social. She called over half of the family, to talk me about this. I freaked out and ran off, later that day my dad was calling me a terrible person for running off. He never believed I had major social anxiety, now he does.

Moral of the story: Don't be afraid to admit you have social anxiety or anything for that matter, all its going to do is fester inside of you and bother you. So you should never be forced to things you can't do.
