When Shinso returned, he had a very upset looking Kacchan in tow.

"Why do I have to be here?!" He yelled, yup, very easy to hear that.

"Because of you, my son is hard of hearing now! Do you not know what a limit is? What is wrong with you?! Why do you do this? huh?! Does it make you feel good about your sad little life?!" My dad started yelling as well, so I heard every part of it.

My God, he is a Hero for Christ sake he can't be going off at highschool children like this.

I grabbed his hoodie sleeve and pulled on it a little, trying to get him to look at me.

He did eventually, I didn't know what to say to calm him down so I hugged him. He's not that much taller than me so it was easy.

Pulling away, I looked back at Kacchan. He looked stunned that someone just yelled at him.

'Did you hear all of that?' Shinso signed looking at me concerned.

I just nodded and looked down. I don't want to face anyone.

When I looked back up, it seemed like Kacchan was in some type of trance.

"Why do you bully Izuku?" It looked like Shinso asked.

He glanced at me and started signing what Kacchan was saying.

'I'm jealous of him. Everything about him, what is there not to be jealous about? He's got a cool quirk and makes friends so easily. Plus his dad is the number three pro hero, who wouldn't want that?' Shinso finished, looking over at Kacchan and breaking his hold on him.

"What was that all about!? What's going on?!" Kacchan yelled. Again.

I looked over to Aizawa, figuring he would answer the question.

"Are you aware of what you did to Midoriya?" He said, that's what I got at least.

"What do you mean? We were talking and he passed out." Kacchan said.

'Lair' I signed, knowing no one would see it.

"You know we have security cameras, right? We could just pull it up and you'll get in even more trouble." Aizawa said, raising his voice so I had to strain to hear it.

"Fine! We got into a fight!" Kacchan yelled, glaring at me.

"Try again." Aizawa said tiredly, why does he have to talk so quiet?

At this point, me and Dad were both sitting down while Shinso stood where he was before and Kacchan stood in front of the door.

I scooted closer to my dad and motioned for Shinso to come sit down. He sat down, sending me a small smile when he did.

It looked like Kacchan grumbled something but I couldn't read his lips.

It was then that the reality set in. I can't hear and barely can talk. Is this permanent? What's going to happen with wanting to be a hero? Can I even be a hero? If I can't hear, or speak, what's the point?! I mean, maybe I'll get my voice back but I know that my hearing will probably only get worse from here. I can't get kicked out of UA! The people here, they're my family, and what will dad think? Will he be disappointed in me? Will he disown me?

I started to hyperventilate, all the thoughts running through my head.

I was trying to stay quiet so no one would notice but of course, Shinso just had to catch on.

He grabbed my hand and used his thumb to rub comforting circles on the back of my hand.

Once I had calmed down, I ended up resting my head on his shoulder.

"And here is the video proof that I could expell you right now." Aizawa said, quiet loudly, looking over at Kacchan.

'Can I see?' I signed to no one in particular, just who was looking at me.

I felt Shinso move a bit, I assumed he said something because Aizawa turned his computer monitor our way.

The video was on pause, and he waited for Kacchan to walk up to watch it too. When he did, I flinched away, moving closer to Shinso.
