minho walked into school. the events from the previous night all still a blur to him.

without hyunjin by his side, walking to school seemed lonely now. there was no point in attending, if he didn't have anything to look forward to.

everything would be much better without him here.

"hey murderer! you thinking about killing another person again?" a group of boys snickered, pointing at minho.

news spread around the school when hyunjin had passed and everyone starting labelling minho as a "murderer". he tried standing up for himself at the start, tried explaining to them that he did not cause it. overtime, he stopped trying. he stopped standing up for himself. maybe they were right. if he had killed himself earlier, hyunjin would still be here.

he was the cause of hyunjin's death.

he walked further into school, many more vulgar and hurtful words being thrown at him.

minho believed them.

he believed every word thrown at him.

especially one phrase,

"kill yourself, you deserve it more than hyunjin."

said by the infamous school bully, han jisung.

jisung was once minho's best friend as well. the three of them being inseparable — minho, hyunjin, jisung. it was always just the three of them of them in their own world. that was before minho had gotten diagnosed with depression. after minho found out he had depression, everything changed.

hyunjin started excluding jisung, telling jisung that "minho needs someone to be there for him right now, i'm the perfect person to do so."

jisung got sick of it.

he stopped accepting their invites to hang out and he stopped hanging out with them in school.

he started mixing around with people such as jungkook and namjoon, who were labelled as school bullies.

the moment jisung got the news that hyunjin had passed while trying to save minho, he was furious.

he burst into school the next day and shouted at minho, in front of everyone.

"i thought you were the one with depression, not hyunjin! why are you still here? it should be you dead while hyunjin is here! you murderer!"

it was jisung.

jisung started calling minho a murderer and everyone followed suit.

minho thought about jisung's words.

"kill yourself."

it kept repeating itself in minho's head like a mantra.

maybe he's right.

maybe everyone's right.

i don't deserve to be here.

it should be hyunjin.
