Chapter two: Its just a jump-scare...

"Hey Sal, wanna go start watching the movie?". Sal stood up and walked to the door. "Sure let's go. Popcorn?" He asked. "Fuck yeah!"you replied waving goodbye to the others. The other two said goodnight and continued with their night.
You and Sal walked over to your apartment, it was only two rooms away from Larry's. When both of u got there you fumbled to get your key out and dropped it on the floor. "Lemme get that."sally said leaning to pick it up for you.
'Huh, that was really sweet of him', you thought. He has always been so sweet and protective..You remember this one time you both thought there was a stalker outside the apartment door, Sally took charge and hid you away while getting a knife and checking. There was nobody there but still....very very sweet and caring. He handed you the key and smiled. "I will get the popcorn, you set up the movie?"Sal asked. "Deal".... Sal took his time but got back as you were fixing the tv up. He got sweet and salty flavour this time, you love it.

So, you were both ready to get comfy and watch the movie, it was new but you had seen the first half already. "Ladies first, madam" Sal said bowing and putting on a corny fake voice, gesturing to the bed. "Your so silly Sal". As you laugh at his stupidity you lay together and start the movie from where you left off.
~20 mins later~
You jolt upright and scream, Sally jumped from your sudden outburst "Haha hey! Did it get'cha" he said. "Holy shit, that..scared the fuck outta me" you panted. It was a huge jump-scare, and you got real scared. Sally face soon noticed you were uneasy afterwards, so he put his arm behind you and onto your shoulder. This made you super queasy, you had butterflies? But he was your friend right so it must be nothing you thought.

The movie was almost at its end...but that's when the last jumps are got you, and Sally. He swung his popcorn up and the container it was in hit his mask, causing it to fly off his face. You knew he was sensitive about it and he covered his face immediately. You have never seen his real face before. "S-Sal you know, you don't have to hide your face from me..I won't judge you..at all" you say hopping up and grabbing his mask off the floor. Placing it in his lap you place your hand on his shoulder. "I-Im not ready.." he said with a shake in his voice. "I understand Sally, don't worry".

The lights flickered. Sally turned away and stood up to put his mask on. The lights flickered more..non stop? 'What the fuck is happening?' you thought. Sal got his mask on. All of a sudden the lights shut off. "What's going on?!" You screamed. "I don't know y/n, maybe a power out?" He said as unsure as you were. All the jump-scares in the movie were getting to you, "Sally...I'm scared" you mutter. You jump in fear, as Sal grabs your hand. "Sorry, didn't mean to scare you."he said sweetly. He squeezed tightly. This put you at ease. His hands were rough but, soft. You felt those butterflies again?
!!SMASH!!
You screamed at the top of your lungs! "Y/n! Are you okay?!" Sally yelled. "What was that loud smash?" You asked on the verge of tears, the lights were still out and you were both frozen in fear. Suddenly the lights flash on, and stay on.....but they are red?! "Woah?, what is happening with the lights?" Sal gasps and squeezes your hand. What ever was going on you did not like it at all. "L-let's go to Larry and see if he has the same problem.."you suggest as you start pulling him to the door by his hand.
