Delilah's P.O.V.
I woke up to a heavy mass on top of me, causing the sweat dripping down my neck. I lifted my heavy head from the hard pillow I was provided with and looked at the figure sprawled across me with a sigh of discontempt. When did Louis get in here?
I was more than a little disappointed that it wasn't Harry's body, and that this whole situation wasn't just a dream I woke up from, but it was nice to wake up next to someone - or more accurately, under someone. Louis was the closest thing I had to Harry at the moment - his best friend and most trusted ally, someone who had a slightly similar personality to Harry and, from what I know, a similar past. It was better than having no one, but I'd still prefer Harry by a land slide.
The afternoon light that had stung my eyes was making the room a lot warmer than it needed to be, it made me squirm uncomfortably under the blanket and the blob of human known dearly as Louis.
I can't believe I slept for so long. Then again, it made sense when considering all of the stress I've been under the last few days. The long sleep was just what I needed. It didn't make my stress any lighter, but it did give me a fresh mind set and I was finally able to think more clearly.
"Louis, get off me," I whined and pushed at his incredibly heavy body. I got an unresponsive moan from him and a twitch of his arm, but he didn't budge an inch. With an exasperated sigh I kicked my legs with all my might until I managed to get the bottom half of him off of me. I squeezed the rest of my way out and took a big breath of air. For a skinny guy he sure did weigh a lot.
The sky was a hazy yellow with flicks of orange when I entered the kitchen and I instantly missed Harry. This was his favourite time of day, when the sun was just set and all the different colours infiltrated the sky. I wondered what Harry was doing. Was he trapped in a cell? Was he being starved? Countless thoughts alreay thought of began to creep up on me as I brewed a pot of coffee and I felt a shiver run down my spine.
Dear god, please let him be okay.---
Harry's P.O.V.
The stench of Amelia's perfume was really starting to stink up my room. I thought Delilah went overboard with her watermelon spray, but she had nothing on Amelia's hooker-enthused cherry scent that wafted through the large rooms and clung to the drapes. Was this Charlie's master plan all along? To slowly kill me via female body spray?
Amelia had been bothering me so much since I came back to this hole, constantly asking me to give her what I had finally given to someone else. She had always been curious about my virginity and was determined it would be her that took it, so imagine the stunned expression she wore when I told her I'd already given it to somebody else.
Speak of the devil, I thought. Amelia sulked into my room with a tray of day old fruit and a bottle of imported water. She must've still been in a bad mood from what I'd told her previously because instead of dropping the tray lightly on the table she slammed it onto my lap and clicked her heels right back out without a single sound. Oh well, that worked well for me.I sighed heavily. I missed Delilah so much. I missed our apartment, I missed our bed, I missed the straightener she used that burnt my hand all the fricking time. I missed the empty milk carton that always pissed me off. I missed it all. Hopefully she was safe and away from Louis. As much as I knew he was a loyal friend, I also knew his loyalty originally served to Charlie. There was no way he would bite the hand that feeds him.
I looked out the window from my spot on the bed and admired rhe darkening sky. Delilah would love this sunset, she had a thing for watching the sky. She always said something like "no matter where you are, you'll always be under the same sky." I never really cared about her little saying, but right now I held onto that thought like a baby held onto it's bottle.
I had never missed anyone as much as I missed her, but as long as I kept her wishful thinking in my mind, things would feel a little bit crappier than they are.
