you should rest my sunflower

The outside was oddly very calm, it was so peaceful and quiet maybe that's why it feel so calm. Opening his eyes Arthur was greeted with the sight of a tall man's shadow looming over him. The sight made him smile as he knew who this was and it was definitely someone who made him happy and less lonely in this world.
"Hello Ivan, is there something you need?" Arthur asked the Russian with a smile as he put the cigarette out beside him. Ivan smiled at the question as if he was happy, Arthur didn't know why though. He is quite odd but aren't we all?

 
"Nyet I just wanted to check on," Ivan said with his thick Russian accent that sounds so hot but Arthur thought he shouldn't think that of him, he's just a friend and he doesn't see Arthur that way right?

 "I'm okay, I just needed to have some fresh air" Arthur replied getting up from where he was sitting before looking up at the Russian, god he's tall now the Brit wished that he was taller so he could hug him better.

"You feel better now da?" Ivan asked the Brit with that innocent smile he always does and sometimes Arthur wishes he would only do it for him but that's ridiculous to have those types of thoughts, 

"yes it made me feel much better, thank you for asking," Arthur said with a smile while the other looked around the garden, he looked so distracted, "Is something the matter?" I ask him wanting to know if something was on his mind.

The Russian looks down at the Brit with a smile as he noticed a certain flower growing in Arthurs garden. He shakes his head to answer his question before walking over to it, Ivan remembered that Arthur mentioned having sunflower seeds but he didn't tell him that he was going to plant them but this made him happy that the Brit did. Arthur watched him at first he had no idea what he was doing until he realised that the sunflower was Ivan's favourite flower. The shorter male walks over with a smile looking at the yellow flowers as well. What he didn't see was that Ivan was staring at him while he was looking at the flower. To the Russian, Arthur reminded of the flower because of his hair and eyes and what makes it better is his eyebrows making the centre, It fits so well. Ivan looks closer at Arthur's eyes admiring their beautiful colour until he notices the dark bags under his eyes, he grew a bit protective as he hugs the Brit. The Russian didn't like it when Arthur didn't sleep as it affects his mood all the time. This action surprised Arthur as he didn't know why he was being hugged, was Ivan alright? He didn't have the faintest idea.

 
"Um, Ivan? Is everything alright?" The Englishman asks hugging Ivan back playing with the end of his scarf. Arthur didn't really realise how tired he looked because he doesn't look in the mirror in the mornings or late afternoon, "what is this for Ivan?"

"You should rest sunflower...you look so tired" Ivan suggested with a concerned tone as he lets go of Arthur, he has always been protective of the Brit so this was actually normal to Arthur which made him laugh some times.
"Fine I'll rest later"

"I know when you mean later it means when you go to bed" Ivan chuckles slightly as he leads the Brit inside by wrapping his arm around him, Arthur sighs softly finding Ivan's protective nature nice as he leans on him.

Once they were inside Ivan sits Arthur down on the sofa putting a blanket over him with a smile before sitting down next to him.
"You can rest here da? " The Russian asks the small brit with a smile making Arthur chuckle slightly as he leans on Ivan looking up at him.

"Yes I can Ivan, also can you get my phone I want to order take out tonight, I don't feel like cooking," Arthur said as he smiles up at Ivan with pleading eyes but he already knew the Russian was going to do it anyway and that's what he did. The Brit was so comfortable he didn't want to move from where he was because it was so warm. Ivan hands Arthur his phone before petting his head playing with the blonde mob of hair while the Brit orders the food.
