I'm gonna miss Arizona, even if my mother and I weren't close, this is my home.  I love my dad, we get along, but its gonna be different.  I love the rain, but I also love the sun, things will be strange.  Mom can't cook, but neither will dad, so Bella and I will still cook, at least that won't change.  Dad doesn't know about my illness, I asked mom not to tell him.  I promised I would work on it, but I think deep down mom knows I lied.

I look over to my sister who is holding a small cactus in a pot.  Out of everything I could take from home that'd be the last thing I would.  I've stepped on so many having to go to the doctor to get them removed.  Mom always called Bella a klutz, but I was always accident prone is what she'd say.

I laid on the sand putting my hands through it one last time.  I'm gonna miss this, I don't like change.

"Bella, baby my phone won't work again," My mother said rushing out of the house.  I closed my eyes basking in the sun.

"You put it on hold," Bella said, showing her how to work it for the hundredth time.

"I did?"  Mom asked.

"Look.  You also called Mexico,"  My sister joked, causing mom to playfully push her.  I wish I had that relationship with my mom.  If I never got sick I could've, but I missed that chance.  I hope I can have a real relationship with Dad.  Maybe he'll understand, or he'll never find out.

"I'll figure it out," Mom promised, "You gotta be able to reach me and Phil on the road."  My mom sighed, "I love how that sounds."

"Very romantic," Bella giggled.

Phil was holding me and Bella's bags.  "If you call crappy motels, backwater towns and ballpark hot dogs romantic," Phil commented, while putting an old baseball cap on mom's head and giving her a light kiss.  I lightly smile, Phil will take care of mom for me.

I sat up helping Phil take my luggage to the car while Mom walked Bella to the car.  "Now, you both know if you change your mind, I'll race back her from where ever the game is," Mom reassured us, but her face told me it would be an inconvenience.

"I won't change my mind mom," Bella told Mom.

"You might.  You've always hated Forks," Mom reminded Bella.

"It's not about Forks, it's about Dad."  Bella explained.

"Mom, we want to go," I spoke up.

Mom hugged us both tightly as possibly before releasing us and letting us enter the truck.  I stepped on the side step rail on the truck to get in, but my foot slipped off causing me to bang my knee on it.  My knee throbbed and mom looked at me with wide eyes but I just smiled and her and jumped back up.

The truck pulled leaving Bella and me to stare out the windows, the houses began to disappear as we got closer to the airport.  The shopping malls, chic shoppers, manicured cactus gardens none of that stuff would be in the small town of Forks.  But I love Forks, I love my friends from La Push, I love my dad, I love the cute little diner he always took me to.  I just have to focus on that.

Bella and I sat in Dad's police cruiser, Bella was in front and I was in the back.  Riding home was very quiet I had so much I wanted to say to Dad, but it just didn't seem right.

"You're hair's longer," He commented towards Bella.

"I cut it since last time I saw you," Bella replied while grabbing a lock of her hair.
