Part 8: the bonds we make
(Sorry, more filler but at least you get the three bros chilling)
It was after class on Thursday after everyone but the three boys had left that gin asked the two flame users a question.
"Hey guys, do you want to come over to mine this weekend, I've got training facilities and stuff if you want to try your skills against a master such as I?"
"oh, so you're approaching me?" izuku smirked knowing gin would understand.
"I can't beat your ass if I'm standing over here." At this, both friends burst into laughter before fist-bumping each other. Todoroki was standing to the side wondering what the hell they were going on about. Izuku had finally met his match when it came to anime knowledge in gin, he was like the ying to Izuku's yang, they just clicked.
"Sure man, I doubt my dad will care as long as I don't blow anything up, he's chill like that. And if my dad's ok with it todo's dad will have to agree, so sure man. What should we bring?" gin smiled at being allowed to hang out with his friends for the weekend, he really did get lonely sometimes.
As the day rolled around the two boys had a spare backpack each with their supplies for chilling with gin all weekend. As the three boys walked to Gins house, they walked up to a three-story mansion with a fountain in front.
"Damn gin I knew your folks were loaded but this just seems excessive, how does your family have so much cash?" izuku said in awe. gin laughed and turned to face him
"did your parents ever tell you about the gold price crash about twenty years ago, my father had a quirk that let him convert metals into other metals. So buy up any cheap scrap and he could turn it into a pile of gold worth millions." The two boys looked in awe that such a quirk existed but soon shrugged it of before gin scanned his eye and the gates swung open to let them inside. After walking through the great hall and being greeted by gin private butler they went up to his room and plopped their bags down.
"Damn gin, I never knew you lived so luxuriously." Suddenly the door opened, and a voice called in,
"don't inflate his ego even more than it already is." They looked to see a girl that was maybe two years older than them with waist length grey hair and cold blue eyes.
"Yes thank you for the contribution to the conversation Kogane, you can go now." She let out a hmph before giving Gin the finger and walking away.
"Geez what her problem." Todoroki said
"that is my older sister Kogane, the golden child of the Kōkei duo, and the only child that was wanted. I was a mistake to say the least and was raised by my grandad instead of my parents. She hardly ever comes to visit him, but when she does, I always get treated by trash." Izuku went up to him and gave him a bro hug, with Todoroki joining soon after. A couple seconds later they broke apart and gin smiled and thanked them.
As evening rolled around gin told them to get into their training gear and meet him in the dojo, after searching around the massive house for fifteen minutes they finally found the correct room. Gin was kneeling in the centre of the room in kendo gear, he stood up and waved at them before pointing towards two identical sets of gear.
As they stepped into the middle of the room gin spoke
"I don't suppose any of you know the rules of quirk kendo do you?" izuku perked up and responded,
"Its basically normal kendo with the exception of quirk usage, you can use them as much as you want as long as you don't hurt the opponent with it, which usually gives a big advantage to people with sensory quirks. I remember this one time-" he got karate chopped by Todoroki and realised he was rambling.
"Yeah basically, right izuku your up first. We have to subdue the opponent or last three minutes untouched." he and gin took ten steps away from each other before turning to face one another and bowing before taking their stances. Gins was a traditional one, with his sword held vertically in front of him. Izuku's sword was by his side, he looked almost non caring, this was a major deception. As soon as Todoroki said go gin charged at him while izuku only said a single sentence
Annihilation technique: Untouchable
With this a roaring wave of hot air blew out from izuku, his eyes turned a bright white and his left set on fire, though this did not seem to affect him. Gin was blow into another wall tried to stand up but the sheer amount of heat and wind coming of izuku made it damn near impossible to get near him. Gin managed to weld his metal soled shoes to the ground and tried to make his way towards the boy, but izuku simply lifted his sword and brought it down in a quirk boosted strike, focussing the heat and wind to propel a single strike into gins head and with that he was out like a light.
After gin had recovered he had one Question
"What the hell was that izuku!!" izuku sweat dropped and soon explained.
"Normally I emit flames outside of my body, so it got me thinking, since I'm immune to the effects of fire due to being a literal battery for the stuff, could I light one inside of myself, and I found it made me give off massive amounts of heat energy in the form of waves of pressure and pure annihilation, as such annihilation technique untouchable was created. Just one of the three I have developed.
"You have three stupidly powerful moves like that! What are you!" gin said while falling over anime style.
The rest of the weekend flew by, with them training relaxing and most often, messing about as three friends would.
