Able didn't understand how Iris could be so sweet even with the world the way it is, he of course wasn't complaining he just found it odd and he was kind of hopeful she stayed this way.

10 years later…

Iris stared at the barren wasteland that she had grown up in, she sighed wondering what life would be like if things were the same as they were from her father's stories. She hopped off the broken piece of pipe she was sitting upon, she hadn't ever left the facility and she was growing bored and tired of the same old gery scenery she wanted to be out and see the world. She never understood why her father kept her inside, he always told her it was dangerous outside especially when they found out she had harder hearing than most humans before the "Apocalypse" as her father called it. She didn't even realize she had wandered outside of the usual area and looked around, it was still in the facility but it was a new part with more sunlight and Iris got excited, she went about hopping over pipes and such exploring something new and having a blast.

Able began to Panic, he couldn't find Iris anywhere he looked all around his usual designated area, he heard louder than usual giggles from a different side of the facility and Able felt his heart nearly give out. He ran towards the side and grabbed Iris when he got the chance, he carried her back to the main part of the facility, he sat her down furious. "WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?!" He screeched more relieved that she was safe than angry. "I-i'm sorry d-ad i di-" She broke down sobbing witch made Ables heart ache and he walked over to her and pulled her into a hug, "I'm sorry i was just worried about you." He said gently as she sobbed onto his shoulder.

Sorry this chapter is shorter than others, i simply didn't know what to name it and i've been lacking on idea's i still want to continue the story because i love writing it, i just don't want to make garbage as filler, so don't expect regular updates, sorry.
