Anyone that has ever known me in the course of their life would know undoubtedly, just how much I value my sleep. Adam for instance, was always good at ignoring this knowledge that I constantly supplied him with and would continue to wake me up everyday so I could fulfil my 'royal duties' as my Mother would call it, but I always knew he enjoyed waking me up at ungodly hours just to annoy me. That was probably the only thing I didn't miss when he left for LA.

Today brought no exception, except, unusually, it was Emma jolting me awake, not Adam, not Martha, not Mother, but Emma. Which brought to my attention the question of who the hell let Emma in our house and ultimately, into my room.

My eyes fluttered open at the sound of her voice and the constant flicks jabbing my arm.

My eyes meet with her hasty ones,  then hazily trailed onto Adam's smirk that he attempted to cover by his right hand.

I squinted at the abundance of sunlight that flooded into my room, thanks to Adam's quick hand that I had seemed to miss from dazing off to sleep again.

"Anna, get up." A twist on my arm that triggered every nerve and pain receptor in body, jolted me straight up, my eyes piercing open for good, giving me an unnecessary adrenaline rush. Adam jumped back from my abrupt arousal, in an attempt to hide the fact that he was the one who twisted my arm.

"See. Told you that would work." Adam snickered to Emma who was now observing the flesh of my arm that was imprinted with red hand marks.

"Old habits die hard, huh?" I sighed to Adam as I swung my legs out of my blanket and glanced at the centuries old alarm clock that displayed 5:36am.

My eyes widened at the ungodly hour presented to me. "Do you realise the time? I don't have to get up for another hour and a half!"

Emma cringed at my dreary outburst and slowly began to answer all the questions that were lining up in my head.

"Adam and I got an idea last night," she began, as I started to wonder what they we're doing last night for them to come up with this 'idea' simultaneously. "And for it to happen we needed you to be up earlier than usual. So, get up! We're going to RPN."

I sighed dramatically, rubbing my eyes as I got up and pulled the curtains closed to cover the a window that let to much blinding light in. My eyes relaxed for moment as my room closed into an abrupt darkness, giving me a chance to think clearly for the first time this morning.

"Be ready in 5. You have an appointment in 10." Adam informed me as I pushed him and Emma out of my room so I could make myself look somewhat presentable. Who even has appointments this early in the morning anyway?

I flicked on my light, my eyes adjusting eventually and within the 5 minute deadline my brother had given me, I managed to be down in the living room looking somewhat decent.

"Is it a good idea though?" Adam whispered to Emma as I ascended down the stairs, only just loud enough for my ears to catch.

"Well, I mean I don't know, every plan and idea has somewhat of a risk, Adam. But we need to start doing something because if we don't-" My entering the living room is what stopped Emma mid-sentence. She was dressed in white jeans and a sweater jumper, her blonde hair in a low messy bun, something she would normally wear to school but not to RPN.

"So, either one of you want to tell me what this grand 'idea' is?" I questioned to neither in particular, raising my eyebrows. The two of them were in a close proximity of each other on the same couch, simultaneously displaying the same expression of concern that always had a way of making my stomach twist.
