I was waiting for my roommate Annabeth to finish packing then we could go to her house. I don’t live with her but I live on the floor under her apartment so she said her friend’s mom would drop me off.

“Are you done packing Holly?” Annabeth called coming into our room. 

“Yeah, you should finish!” I exclaimed.

“What do you mean I was done ages ago? I was waiting for you to finish” she laughed.

“Really me too!” and I couldn’t help joining in with the laughter.

“We better go”

I nodded and followed her into the parking lot.

“I don’t see her car anywhere” Annabeth muttered to herself looking around.

Just then a blue Lamborghini drove up and parked. Out came the hottest guy I’ve ever seen. He had messy raven black hair and when he turned to face us I got to see his eyes they were a beautiful sea green colour. They scanned the parking lot looking for someone and when his eyes landed on us he grinned.

I looked over and said “Annabeth that guy’s looking at us.” But she was just staring back at him with a smile on her face. “Yeah, yeah” After her answer I turned my attention back to the boy he was walking our way.

“Hey” he said when he got to us.

“I thought your mom was coming Seaweed Brain.” It took me a while to realise Annabeth had said that and Seaweed Brain?

“Wait you know him?” I asked.

“Yep Holly this is Percy, Percy this is Holly”

“Wait back up whose Percy?”

”He’s my boyfriend” She said it like it was nothing but I was beyond surprised.

“Wait back up further since when did you have a boyfriend?

“What you didn’t tell anyone about me?” Percy cut in with mock hurt in his voice.

“I guess it never came up?” Annabeth questioned shrugging.

“Well get into the car I’m not taking the blame if my mom’s angry when you don’t arrive on time.” Percy said.

“Oh you’re such a seaweed brain!” she laughed.

“I know, now in” he orders.

Annabeth puts her hands up in surrender and gets into the passenger seat while I get into the back. He jumps into the driver seat and drives off.

When we get out Percy asks “Do you want to come in?”

“Sure”

We walk up to the elevator and go up. When we arrived Percy calls “Mom we’re home”

“Ok I just finished making cookies for you and Annabeth” a woman with an apron came out of the kitchen. She had brown hair tied back in a pony tail.

Percy and Annabeth went up to her and took it in turns to hug her. I just stood there awkwardly and waited until Annabeth remembered me.

“Sally this is holly my roommate. She lives down the road so Percy gave her a lift.

“Hello my name’s sally I’m Percy’s mom, do you want a cookie?” she offered.

“Okay” I said and followed her into the kitchen, her cookies are delicious.

For the rest of the day Percy, Annabeth and I watched 3 movies and I learnt more about their relationship.

After dinner Percy dropped me home. That was an awesome day I thought as I took my keys out to open the door.
