I looked out of my window to see a moving van. The house next door was empty so i put 2 and 2 together and my conclusion was that we’d gotten new neighbours.

Next came four cars. They were a blue Lamborghini, a black Mercedes, a silver Ferrari and a red Audi.

Out of the Lamborghini came a man with black hair and a woman with blonde curls. Out of the back came a boy with black hair and two girls with blonde hair.

Out of the Mercedes came a man with short black hair and a woman with frizzy brown hair in a pony tail.

Out of the Ferrari came a man with blonde hair and a woman with uneven brown hair in a side braid. Out of the back came a girl with blonde hair and two boys one with brown hair the other with blonde.

Out of the Audi came a man with curly brown hair and a woman with long brown curls. Out of the back came a boy and a girl both with curly brown hair.

That’s a lot of people in one house I thought.

I went to back to the couch and turned on the TV. There was nothing on so I decided to make cookies for our new neighbours. I checked the cupboards to find no sugar!

“Mark” I called to my husband “I’m gonna go get some sugar so bye”

“Bye be safe.”

When I got out I saw all the neighbours perfectly they all looked flawless. They were all tanned and muscular.

**Time skip to after the shop**

I walked back into my house. It was nice and warm compared to the cold outside. I took of my coat and walked into the kitchen. On my way I saw Mark on the couch watching TV.

“You’re home?”

“Yep you wanna help?”

“With what?”

“Cookies.”

“Sure.”

He followed me into the kitchen and we got out all the ingredients.

After I put the tray into the oven Mark’s phone rang. He picked it up and waited. His smile turned into a frown and he hung up.

“I am needed at work” he said looking at me apologetically. “I have to leave now.

“Yeah Ok Bye”

“Bye”

He went for his coat but walked back over. “Did you forget something?” I asked

“Yes” with that he gave me a gentle kiss. We pulled apart and I smiled. “I’ll miss you.”

He gave me a small wave and left. You see Mark is a pilot and is called all the time to make long journeys. He was thinking of quitting but not just yet. I started to day dream about us and everything else in life when a ping burst my thoughts. It was the timer for the oven. Was I really day dreaming for 20 minutes???

I put the cookies in a tin and walked over to my coat and put it on. I walked out the door and walked up to their door. I rang the bell and the woman with blonde hair opened the door. She had stunning grey eyes that analysed me top to bottom.

“Hi I’m Hayley Browne I am you’re new neighbour. I brought you a welcome present.” I held out the tin.

“Oh I’m Annabeth come in.” She stepped aside for me and I walked in.

She lead me to the living room where I saw 3 women talking 4 men messing around and 8 children playing video games.

“Guys we have a guest”

“Hayley this is my husband Percy, son Luke and the twins Bianca and Silena.”

“I’m Jason and my wife Piper. This is my daughter Victoria and two sons Jasper and Jake.”

“I’m Leo and my wife Calypso and the twins Charlie and Holly.”

“I’m Hazel and my husband Frank.”

I shook hands with all the adults and waved at the kids.

“Thanks for the cookies do you want to stay for dinner?” Piper asked.

“Sure.”

“It’s the boys turn to cook.” Calypso said with a smirk.

They groaned and walked off to the kitchen.

After talking with the girls Annabeth asked me “What do you and Mark do?”

“Oh I’m a wedding planner and mark is a pilot so I don’t see him much. What about you?”

“Annabeth. Piper and Calypso know about not seeing their husbands for a long time but I don’t.”

“I’m an Architect and Percy’s a swimming instructor but in the summer he teaches different thing in a summer camp. Actually all the guys work in the summer camp.”

“I’m a beautician and Jason’s a Latin teacher” Piper explained.

“Frank works in the zoo and I am a jeweller” Hazel said.

“Leo and I own Caloe’s Mechanics .”

“Oh wow!” I said shocked and impressed.

“Dinner is ready” someone called out. Dinner was amazing. That day I made lots of friends.
