13. Slave whom Queen Loved

Ellen expected this anyway.
As a slave who is meant to do nothing but follow royal orders,  Ellen deserve to be punished.

"Today is your last day as Lieutenant General. "
Charlie said in a low voice.

Ellen kept silent.  She is in no position to ask forgiveness.

"And i don't want to see your face from next morning.  " Charlie cleared her throat and continued..
"I know what you are thinking.  You think without you around i am a handicapped queen, don't you? "

Ellen kept silent again.

"You can leave.  If you can leave this moment it would be better . And make sure to give Nathi a proper goodbye, afterall she is my only friend.
Do you have any final wish? 
I'll grant it for serving me all these years." Charlie asked without standing up from her sofa.

"Yes i do,  please let me serve you till my last breath. I can receive any punishment but not leaving your side. I'll give up my title of course but let me serve you as one among your lowest slaves.  I beg. "

"You think I'll just forgive your treacherous act if you ask for? 
You can leave, right now.  And make sure never return.  This is  my command "
Charlie sounded raged.  She rarely raise her voice.  She is capable of expressing all kind of emotions with her normal low voice. It can be frightening from time to time.

"Wh... who is leaving?  Hoodie..?? "
Nathi overheard her last dialogue while bringing her morning coffee.  She came to make up with Charlie.  After the incident from school Charlie haven't faced Nathi though she talked a bit during their  birthday prank .
Well it was hard for Nathi to face hoodie too but Nathi decided to take one step closer.
She never knew she was getting closer to the most loneliest throne ever.

"Why are you telling Elli to leave? " Nathi repeated.

Hearing her voice made Charlie jump up from her sofa.
When she turned to look at Nathi,  her face, dazzling in the morning light surprised Ellen.

It is the first time Ellen seeing her like this.
She doesn't look like a Moon anymore.  She doesn't look like that usual Moon which is all alone in the darkness..
A new ray of hope have conquered her face.
Even her skin is so bright which spreads a sense  of security. It is as if a new sunshine had born within her.

"It's not like that Nathi,  i wasn't telling her to leave. I was asking her to go and prepare a strategy to get you guys out of this mess easily. Isn't it Ellen? "
Charlie was helpless in front of Nathi.

"What Charlie said is true. Why she have to make me leave anyway? " Ellen supported Charlie.

"Ooh then that is Good. Either way Charlie isn't a person who get angry over a mear prank right ?  It wasn't a mear prank though. " Nathi said as she walked in.

"Ellen do you mind leaving us alone ?  Remember next time Nathi won't be enough excuse. "
Charlie decided to forgive.
Maybe because she values Nathi like anything.
Or maybe She secretly wished Ellen to stay.

Ellen didn't expected Charlie to go easy on her just like that. Her doubt became stronger.
Does Charlie know something that she should never know?  That secret Luke Zeze and Ellen decided to hide forever.
That secret why Ellen have to be a women for her entire life.
But there's no way for that to happen.
She left her room with completely confused thoughts. Any way it's not time for that. Now she have to submit an amazing strategy.

"You brought me coffee? "
Charlie asked Nathi with her old beautiful smile.
Nathi kept silent for sometime.
She kept staring at her.

"What happened?  Is there something on my face? "
Her presence itself was enough to make charlie happy.

After staring at her face for some more moments Nathi ran to her. Threw herself at Charlie.   She held her tight as tight possible.
With teary eyes she said

" I missed you Hooodiee"
