When Charlie turned 16, she became The Queen of a notorious criminal underworld called Zerpus Empire. She was infamous under her title as Lady Luke.
Charlie is 18 now.
She don't want to live as Lady Luke anymore.

This is how Charlie live if you shadow her a whole day .
Charlie have two part time jobs. One in early morning and another in the evening until midnight. She live alone in a rooftop room of an apartment near school.
But Reality isn't that boring.
Charlie actually works in a cafe for her morning work. She works in the counter and learn how normal people talk , cry , laugh and SMILE. To become that naive innocent girl, Charlie , she had to study much out of her syllabus. She learnt everything from that cafe.
She saw people rushing for work after getting their coffee .
She saw two or three daily customers , apparently writers ( including me) , Coming with some books to have their morning coffee.
Working there for a year taught her so many things.
Maybe how people fall in Love, how they confess it , how they date for months and how they break up for the most silliest reasons.
And how much pain they carry even after years, in memories of those good times.
After morning training in cafe, she goes to school, to live whatever she learnt in morning. Think more innocently.
Never, not even once , she let Lady Luke overpower Charlie. She suppressed and oppressed her thoughts as Lady Luke, which ultimately resulted being not able to think cunningly as Lady Luke in her 'Charlie attire'.
After classes she goes straight to Restaurant in which she works as a part time chef. Inside the kitchen she got a special room to work with a single small window to pass dishes. Inside that room there is a real chef who works for her.
And Inside that room there is a secret door to her ruthless underworld kingdom, to her Dark palace.
That secret door opens to some old wooden steps.

There are so many sections, chambers and secret doors in the long corridor.
Corridor ends with a Mahogany Door. In which its written in Golden letters, Zerpus Kingdom.
It opens into three chambers.
She always enter left chamber and change her hoodies. Remove her makeup on her hands, showing off all her tattoos. She takes off her wig and after she is done transforming into Lady Luke , she marches to her main chamber.
She herself eliminate all assassins who have been caught that day.
She will listen to daily reports and give orders. Meet with important allies.
It's not because she wants to do all these.
But because she can't just wake up a random morning and say I'm descending from the throne and there's no Heir and I'm going to dismiss my Kingdom.
So that's why... everyday... When clock ticks 5 in evening she have to go down that path again. To that filthy reality she had to live in.
To that ruthless queen of her notorious criminal underworld.
To that cunning art of eliminating those who are powerless.
To that clever tricks of overpowering rivals.
To that cold throne with stain of blood for years.

When she take it off and change her attire to Charlie, Her heart is full of that gaze which penetrate through her skin as if HE can see her soul.
That gaze which makes her feel innocent again.
That gaze which give her curiosity, about what's going through his head and not about how to put a hole in his forehead.
That gaze which leaves some lingering feel of false Hope and trust.
