Dinner time :
Alpha Xavier's Pov
Where is that little omega Mary and why isn't dinner ready! Just because I rejected her doesn't mean she can hide in her room and cry or whatever girls do when mates reject them. I walked into the kitchen and saw a piece of paper lying on the counter, I picked it up and read it. It said

" Dear anyone who reads this,
I am leaving this hell hole. I know when I'm not wanted. All you did was abuse and I'm tired of it. I am leaving and no one can stop me . James, you are supposed to be my brother and protect me from everyone but no, you helped them and beat me just like them. I hate all of you except for Tara. Tara, thank you so much for looking after me and helping me through everything, I'm sorry I have to leave but my mate rejected me today and there is only so much I can take.
With much hate to the pack, and love to Tara,
Mary Jane Lancaster"

I was furious and called James and my beta and my third in and told them to read the letter. James looked like he was crying, probably because it was his sister, but still ew. "Who is gonna cook and clean for us now?" Dylan asked. I growled at him and stormed up the stairs. I couldn't believe she just left, I mean we did hurt her but she can't just leave!

I suddenly felt a pain in my chest and my wolf growled at me and screamed " it's all your fault dumbass, you made her leave!" I cut off our link at ordered one of my pack members to cook dinner. After dinner I went to my bed and tried to sleep. I cant and I know exactly why. That stupid Mary. "Don't call her that" my wolf growled. I growled back and cut him off.

James Pov ( Mary's brother)

I can't believe My little sis left! She was all the family I had left, the only reason we hurt her was because she was blamed for my parents death.
My parents were respected because my mom always helped with the pack and my dad was a pack warrior. He risked his life for the pack. But sadly they died to a rogue attack. Everyone loved our parents and because Mary was there when it happened everyone blamed her. We were so small when it happened, around 5 and I didn't know better than to listen to the Alpha.

I promised my mom that I will look after her but instead I did the opposite, I hurt her even more. I heard her in the attic sometimes crying herself to sleep, it was the worst feeling but I just convinced myself that it was her fault that my parents are dead and then I just became angry and I went to hit her. I will never forgive myself for the pain I have caused her!

But who is her mate? I'm gonna kill whoever rejected her. Why would someone reject their mate, it's the most painful thing to do! I can't even imagine what pain my sister is in....I don't deserve a sister like her, I remember she used to try everything to make me happy and be nice to her but nothing worked so she just gave up. I am a horrible person!

Mary's Pov
I had past the border long ago and I just kept running and running until I found a cave that I could use for the night. I am exhausted so as soon as I put my head down I fell into a dreamless sleep.

I woke up in the late morning and started running again. I was now a rogue so I had to be quiet . I heard a few growls from behind me and I started sprinting without looking back. I was so close to getting of their land but then I got tackled by a huge wolf.

It's fur was beautiful and silky it was black but it had white on its paws a bit like socks! I then remembered that this wasn't good and squirmed under him. From the power radiating off of him I knew that he was a Beta and the wolf next to him a Third.
The beta shifted into a very hot, very naked man. Around 20 years old.
He growled at me "shift rogue!" He spat the last word out like it was some kind of disease.
"I said shift!" He growled louder.
I shifted back and lowered my head in submission . They looked confused because rogues don't normally submit to higher ranks. Oh well.
" What is your business of our land rogue" The Third spat out.
"I didn't realize this was your land, I'm very sorry , I didn't mean to trespass" I said shakily
"You're coming with us rogue" The Beta said
At least he didn't spit again.

We were right outside the pack house and I looked at it in awe. It was huge! About 5 stories high. My old packs house looks like dog poo compared to this. We walked in and once we reached the 3rd floor we nocked on a big wooded door that had really nice patterns on it.

The Alpha I presume shouted "come in"
We walked in and I looked in awe at the Alpha. He looked like a god, hot dayuum!
The Alpha looked around 20 also like his Beta .

"Beta who is this? " the Alpha asked

"Its um-"

"Mary" I finished for him

"Well Mary what are you doing on my land" he asked

"I didn't mean to trespass I was just trying to get out of this California" I answered

"Where is your pack Mary?" He asked

"I left them behind "

"Why?"

" No reason..." I said timidly

"Mhm" he said not believing me

" Fine! They blamed me for my parents death" I answered with glossy eyes

FLASHBACK

I was playing hide and seek outside with my mummy and daddy when I heard a growl. I ran back to where mummy was counting and told her. She called for my daddy and he came running to her. She told him what I heard and he said to me to hide in the safe room with my brother. I told him why and he ignored me and told me he loved me and then ran off in wolf form mummy did the same as daddy and then ran off. I ran back to the house and called my brother to the safe room. We hid in there for very long until we came out and I rushed outside. I saw mummy and daddy on the floor and I called James and he told me that it was all my fault that they were gone. I cried over my mommy and daddy until the Alpha came and threw me to the door and said that it was all my fault and that's when he labeled me as omega.
END OF FLASHBACK

"Well Mary, how do you feel about joining the red moon pack?" The Alpha asked me

The red moon pack? Omg that's the strongest pack in the whole country!

"I don't know... Can I trust you ?"

"Of course... We will never hurt a pack member!"

"Um-
