Chapter 25: Would he skip?

~Two months later~
~Stevens Pov~
*clink clink clink* I listened to my black dress shoes smack against the tile as I paced the bathroom. 'Left, right, left, right' my feet raced across the tile floor. I turned toward the sink and placed my hands on its rim. I looked up into the mirror. I was sweating buckets and I looked pale and jittery. I ran my hand through my hair to fix it. I repositioned the red tie that was around my neck and brushed off my tux. "Okay Steven, just calm down. You can do this and it will be the best night of your life." Why was I so nervous? The wedding starts in 2 hours and I was already panicking. I continued to pace around the bathroom *clink clink clink* and here n there fix tiny mistakes I found in my clothing. When I finally collected my nerves and fix myself up I exited the bathroom. Anthony was staying over at Adams and Cathy's place to get ready since we didn't want to see each other for the wedding. I made my way to the fridge in the kitchen. I was in my own house again and felt so happy that I'm back home and I'm marrying Anthony. I opened a small chocolate candy bar and glance at the clock 6:12 there was only about an hour left until the wedding. We had chosen to have it at minx's house at night. Her backyard was beautiful at night! I scarfed down the entire bar without getting a single crum on myself then threw the wrapper away. I made my way to the couch and took our wedding invitation with me. I slid into the softness of my own couch and stared down at the invitation.

7 pm at Minx's

-Sigh- I still couldn't believe he asked me to marry him! Like why me? He deserves better especially because of what I put him through. We had everything planned out; gassy was my best man and I don't know who is Anthony's best man. And minx and Cathy would be flower girls, but I felt bad for her minx because she had to wear a dress and heals. I decided to take a quick nap before the wedding to calm myself so I carefully laid across the couch and shut my eyes.

~Anthony's Pov~
I wiped the sweat off my forehead. I wonder if Steven is just as scared as I am. I ruffled with my tux once more then turned to Adam, "wadda think?" I asked nervously. Adam turned and placed a finger to his lip as if he was thinking, "hmmmmmmm"
"Adam!" I laughed.
"I think he'll love it mostly the blue tie" Adam dolphin laughed back to me. After he helped me fix my hair Cathy walked out the bathroom door, "okay! She's ready!" She ran up to Adam and kissed his cheek then motioned for minx to come out.
"I look stupid!" Minx yelled from behind the door.
"Come on!" I teased.
Minx slowly walked out the bathroom wearing the same out lit as Cathy. she wore a white perky dress that cut off right above her knees and the same color heals. She was holding a woven basket full of white flower petals. I laughed and she glared at me but I just laughed at her more. I glanced at the clock 6:45 "shit we gotta go! Come on minx!" Every one filled out of the room and to minxes car. Minx stumbled and I had to catch her.
"Ha minx how's it feel being all girly?" I teased.
"Shut up!" She jumped out of my arms and into the drivers seat.
We made it to we house in an easy five minutes. Adam pulled me off to the office as I watched minx run and kiss Krism over his shoulder. We had to wait in here till the wedding started.
I continued to wait when I heated the people in minx's house make there way to the back yard, I looked at the small alarm clock on a nearby desk 6:55. I was reading some magazines and Adam looked at minx's computer set up while we waited until minx popped through the door, "have you guys seen Steven? He's not here yet." What? Why wasn't he here?? Did he ditch!? No he wouldn't do that...right? Adam and I both turned our attention toward her, "uh no we haven't," I said nervously. I felt my hands start to tremble there is no way he didn't come. She left the room and ran to the next still looking. I pulled out my phone and called Steven. No answer.
