I woke up in Jerome's arms, wishing we could stay like that forever.
"You up doll?" I heard him ask.
I rolled over, seeing him smiling down at me.
"I'm up" I replied smiling.
"I love you" He said taking me by surprise at the suddenness.
"I love you too" I replied happily.
"What's wrong?" I asked, placing my hand on his cheek.
"I don't want you to get hurt today" he said making my smile widen.
"Jerome, I've been through worse okay. I'll be fine" I assured and he nodded.
"Thank you for being worried though, it means a lot" I smiled.
"Of course, I've always cared about you. Just wish I wasn't such an asshole when we met" he said sweetly, playing with a strand of my hair.
"I wish that too. You were an asshole" I smirked making him laugh.
"What you said wasn't wrong though, I though you were incredibly hot" I added fuelling his smirk.
"Knew it" He said, pumping the air making me laugh.
"We should get ready, we'll be leaving soon" he said and I nodded, standing up and getting ready to leave.

I walked out of the bathroom to see Jerome in a GCPD uniform. He spotted me walking out, eyeing me shamelessly.
"Just so you know, I though you were hot too" he smirked, referring to our precious conversation.
"I'd hope so, I was wearing one of my best outfits" I replied sarcastically.
"Hmmm I prefer your birthday suit" he said smoothly making me laugh.
"Nice one Romeo, real smooth" I replied, grabbing some weapons before turning around and walking to the door where Jerome was waiting for me.
I sighed, thinking about the shit that was about to go down.
Timeskip to GCPD
