FINAL PART

it is now two years later and i'm yet to finish this story. however, i did write an ending chapter instead of writing the rest lol so here it is !

after 15 minutes of running across roads and almost getting killed, donghyuck finally found suhyun.

"yah! suhyun! ah fuck" she was all the way across the road, walking with a slight frustration.

she had earphones in.

donghyuck began to run across the silent road. he was too busy focusing on how suhyun's hair liked to bounce in sync with her walking that he didn't notice a rather fast car speed by. the car swerved around him but also emitted a few honks and a "GET OUT MY FUCKING WAY SCRAWNY BITCH" while zooming off.

"WELL YOU SHOULD FUCKING SLOW DOWN PRICK" donghyuck yelled in the wrong direction.

he finally got to the other side and saw suhyun staring at him with a confused look painted on her face.

out of breath, donghyuck jogged up to suhyun.

"look, i didn't mean to go that far. it's my fault that i have several bruises on my face and it's my fault that you look kind of angry right now. i never meant to hurt your feelings"

"..."

"and for all the other times i've annoyed the shit out of you, i wasn't trying to make you sad or anything, i was just teasing you, you know?" donghyuck looked up in hopes of seeing a smile across suhyuns face but to his surprise her face was blank.

"so you think that justifying your 'teasing' will instantly make me think that it's all just for fun and i shouldn't be getting angry ? that's no excuse you know!"

"what? no! i didn't mean it like that! fuck, i only tease you because you know, uh.. when a guy uh.." sweat started to pour from donghyuck's temples.

"what?"

"for fucks sake i thought jeno would've told you this already" donghyuck hid his face from embarrassment.

"oh...you?" the confusion dissipated from suhyun's face and a warm smile replaced it.

"yeah uh"

donghyuck stood facing away from suhyun and suhyun stood in the dark flustered.

this lasted for about 15 seconds until the embarrassed boy gathered himself and turned around.

"do you uh, mind if i walk you home?" still avoiding eye contact, donghyuck put his hands in is back pocket.

"uh, um...yeah. i mean if you uh want" suhyun replied whilst looking at the floor.

the awkwardness grew by the second as they got nearer to suhyun's house.

as they were walking, donghyuck spotted a small convenience store.

"hey um can we go in?"

"sure"

as they entered the store, donghyuck suddenly moved closer to suhyun, she looked up at him and he seemed taller than before. she soon realised it was because he straightened up his back. 'cute' she thought.

suhyun found a specific rice beverage and gave it to donghyuck whilst looking at the ground.

"you like this drink don't you ?" she asked to reassure herself.

"it's my favourite." donghyuck replied with a warm smile planted on his face. he took it and said thank you, still smiling at her.

they both spotted ramen in an isle and desperately wanted some as they both couldn't bare to eat lunch after the fight.
