SEO'S POV,It was a partly cloudy day.
No one wanted to wake up at 6 in the morning to get ready for another 7 wasted hours at school, Min Seo especially. It had been exactly a year after her dad died, she didn't feel good in the slightest.
The half awake girl dragged her body out of bed and into the bathroom. She decided to take a shower, whilst listening to some sad kdrama ost.
Tears escaped her puffy eyes whilst scrubbing her frail body, thinking about bittersweet memories shared with her father. The girl didn't want to be flooded with attention in school if she cried so she decided to let it all out now.
It was a long shower.
Once she had finished, 5 songs had already passed and her eyes were still puffy and red from all the shampoo that had caved it's way into her eyes. She restlessly rubbed her distressed eyes and glanced at the misted over mirror.
Unwillingly, the somber girl lifted her hand up and half-heartedly drew a smiley face.
"It's like any other day Seo why the solemn look?"She quickly regained herself and got ready for school. Any other day she said.
Any other day.
-
The bitter clouds crowded the skies as Seo took her steps to school. Her sadness swelling up inside her with the drastic wind guiding her hair through the air,
on her face.
How embarrassing, the girl thought as she swept the uncontrolled strands out of her face. Nobody saw, thankfully.
From then on, Seo only looked forwards and didn't concentrate on any of her surroundings. This day will be over within seconds Seo just don't break down, sensitive cow. By the time she had done scolding herself she was at school. The building was fairly big and tall making it seem much more intimidating than it normally was. The aggravated girl took her earphones out of her ears and listened in to all the chatter from groups of students in the hallways. She felt a sense of exclusion and couldn't relate to anybody, a slight feeling of selfishness drifted over her as she walked by.
From a short distance, a group of 6 boys spotted Seo, waving at her with stainless smiles. She smiled back, looking way more in genuine as she intended to earning confused stares.
"Yah, Seo what's the matter?", a gentle voice let out.
"Nothing! I'm fine." Seo forced a fake giggle, ignoring the dazed boys to stare at her as she paced herself to their homeroom.
"Odd." , the youngest, Jisung let out, peering at Seo as she walked past.
Surprisingly, most of her class were already sat down separated into groups. She aimlessly wandered over to a group of girls who she wasn't close friends with, nor were unfriendly with either.
"Sooyoung, do you know where Yena and Yuri are?"
Sooyoung gave a sympathetic look. "I'm sorry, i thought you'd already have heard, they decided to go on that trip to Daegu last minute."
Disappointed, Seo let a sigh out and replied with a muffled "Oh..ok.." walking away to the back of the classroom where her desk sat. Park Sooyoung watched as the pensive girl took herself to her chair. She felt bad seeing the girl look solemn and isolated but she never bothered to comfort her in the end. The empathy never lasted.
With that, Seo lay her fatigued arms and head on the table and closed her eyes.
This day has lasted so long already.
