The Same Day, Just As Crazy

"Alright men just squeeze in, these commoner rooms are very small, but don't insult Haruhi!" Tamaki tells the Host Club.

I giggle at the statement and Haruhi sweat drops.

They seem nice I sign to Haruhi while smiling sweetly.

"I guess, but they're complete idiots..." Haruhi mumbles the last part under her breath, but loud enough for me to hear.

Me and Haruhi make our way to the table they were sitting at and Haruhi sits in between Hikaru and Kyoya while I sit between Mori and Tamaki.

"Hey Y/N-Chan, how long have you been deaf?" Honey asked while moving to Mori's shoulders.

I'm taken aback by the sudden question, I usually get asked this all the time but never had anyone looked so happy about it. It must be his nature.

"Mitskuni." Mori says and looks up at Honey with bored eyes.

"Sorry Y/N-Chan..." Honey whispers and looks at me with adorable apologetic eyes. I wave him off and smile at him. I nod to Haruhi and she gets ready to translate.

I get asked that question a lot, so it's alright H-O-N-E-Y. When I was born, I was premature, which meant I came early, so I wasn't fully developed.

I sign and Haruhi translates. Though I do have to say that I haven't signed that much in a long time.

"I'm sorry that happened to you Y/N-Chan!" Honey sniffles with cute tears eyes.

I wave my hands dismissively as a sign to say that it's alright.

"Don't worry Honey-Senpai, Y/N is happy and she's learning how to speak." Haruhi says while glancing at me, making sure that I'm okay with what she said.

I make a noise of approval as I nod my head.

Many people are confused as to why I stutter, or why I can't speak correctly, but as a little kid I never heard the pronunciations because at the time, I didn't have hearing aids. But now, I can hear and I can successfully try and talk correctly.

Things went well so far, the twins asked Haruhi to make them a certain kind of rich tea and Honey gave me a piece of cake with a strawberry on top and Haruhi one too, though Haruhi saw it as an offering I just happily ate mine.

We were all chatting, well, not really me, if they had questions I could sometimes answer them while speaking on my own but most of the time, I had to have Haruhi for help. Though I'm very grateful that they were patient with me when I struggled on a word and they corrected me when I said it wrong.

"Tha...nk... you-u... thank you!" I stutter out.

"Your welcome Y/N-Chan!" Honey exclaims.

"Your getting better at least." Hikaru complements.

"I agree." His brother says.

I smile brightly, unaware I made a certain host blush. "Takashi? You're red... Oh no! Are you getting sick Takashi?!" Honey whines with tears eyes as he tightens his hold on his pink bunny.

I look towards Mori with worried eyes wondering to myself if I had been sick lately, I had recently been sneezing a lot but other than that I couldn't think of anything.
