Chapter 22: Practical Exam

Your POV

After all the commotion from the Stain fight, we finally returned to school. Everyone was talking about their internships but I was reading the book I found in Helgen. The book contained some interesting facts tha I could use later. Like the fact I could absorb the souls of dragons into my body to stop them from coming back. Each dragon soul I absorbed would also strengthen me.
Pages were missing so I could only sigh in frustration and put the book away.

"Y/n, weren't you there with them ?" Kaminari said.
"Yeah, you must have seen that amazing fight." Kirishima said.
"Yeah, I saw the fight. It was cool." I lied.

I look at Uraraka and she is focused ? She has an aura around her that's intimidating even me.

"What's up with her ?" I ask.
"She interned with Gunhead and is acting like this for quite a while now." Momo says.

Seeing as Aizawa is still not here, I grab my notebook and start writing about new possible spells. One of my newest spells would be a spell where I would release ice all around me, making a blizzard and freezing everything around me. The only problem was that it didn't want to work like I wanted it to. Maybe I'll practice it more at one of the training grounds after school.

"Sit down everyone." Aizawa said.
"As everyone has returned from their internships, I hope you didn't forget the exams coming in a few weeks." He says.

That made me sweat. I am not dumb by any means but I haven't been hitting the books lately. I need to pull some all nighters if I want to succeed.

10th in class

"Do you need help too Y/n ?" A voice asks.

I look at the voice and see Momo staring at me.

"Yeah, I forgot to study with everything that has happened." I said.
"Why don't you come study with us. I can help." She says.

I think about it. Momo is the smartest of our class after all.

"Yeah, why not." I say.
"Great, come to my house after school." She says with a smile.

School continues onward like normal. It didn't take long until it was time for lunch. I am sitting with Izuku and the rest of the Deku Squad. But suddenly someone hits Izuku in the head with their elbow. I look at who its is and I see Monoma.

"Oh look, it's the losers of class 1A sitting all together. I thought 1A was supposed to be the best." He says.
"Monoma, I swear to god I'll hit you in the face if you don't shut up." I reply.
"Your the most pathetic one here, Y/n. You killed yourself remember." He says with a gloating tone.

I quickly stand up and punch Monoma in the face. He steps back and holds his nose. Blood leaks out of his hands. He rushes at me and pins me down on the table. I grab the nearest object, a tray, and hit him in the side of the head. He gets knocked back, so I kick him in the stomach and give him an uppercut to the face. That knocked him out cold. I look around me and everybody is staring at me. I take my stuff and leave.

After school

I am standing in front of Momo's mansion with Mina, Ojiro, Sero, Jiro and Denki.

"It's so big." Mina says.
"I knew she was rich but not this rich." Denki says.

I press a button on an intercom.

"Everyone, I've been waiting for you. Come in." Momo says through the speaker of the intercom.

The gates open and we step forward. I look around amazed at the sheer size of the garden.

"You are all here !" Momo says while a few carts are coming towards us.
"Is it really that far ?" I ask with a sweatdrop.

After a short ride, we reach her mansion. I don't know what her parents are doing but now I'm really interested in what kind of work they are doing.
