Chapter 13: Unleash the inferno

Your POV

"FFFFFUUUUUUCCCCCKKKKK." I yell when I was thrown into a wall with needles in my back.
Yup, that's me. You are probably wondering how I got here. Let me tell you...

Flashback

I was putting on my pajamas as I was almost close to hitting the floor. Luckily for me, today was Friday and I had the weekend to myself.
Ttrrrrrriiiiinnnngggg.
"Y/N ? Tony here. I have a job for you. Come quickly to my mansion."
I just look at my phone and put my head in my pillow.
"Jufckjinbich." I mutter in my pillow.
I get up and start getting ready.

In the plane

I was hoping to catch some Z's before the mission would start. Granted, I got some, but I was still grumpy. The mission was to capture a base of the League of Villains in the countryside so we drop in using a plane.
There I was standing there with 4 other men, all agents of my boss. Karl, Jack, Cheng and Brook. Parachutes strapped on them with M4's and kevlar vests.
"You ever jumped before ?" Brook asked me.
"Yeah. How about you ?" I replied and pointed to Cheng.
"Nah, you ?" He asks Jack.
"Nah." He replied.
"When we land, we're going to feel invincible !" Brook said while the platform lowered. Suddenly Karl ran on the platform.
"I AM INVINCIBLE !" He said and jumped out.
"Hey, wait up !" Jack said while following Karl.
"WhaaaHOOOOO !" Brook jumped out.
"WhaaaHEEEEE !" Cheng jumped out too.
"Aw shit, here we go again." I muttered and backflipped when I jumped.
I felt the wind rushing past my ears and I saw the base getting closer. I opened my parachute at the last second and dived right into there. Crashing into a guy, I slam his head onto the ground and his brains paint the floor pink. I ditch the parachute and quickly load an arrow onto my bow. I wait and let it go, hitting a man right in the temple. This continues on for a few more minutes until we had killed every last one of them. Out of the corner of my eye, I see a guy running away and I give chase. He turns the corner, I tried to so the same but I get caught of guard when I get hit into a wall. I get out of the wall, but I feel needles entering my limbs. I scream in pain and I see that the left part of my torso became a pincushion for cactus needles. He rushes me and transforms his arms into obsidian. Left without any choice, I try to block it but he hits me so hard I fly through the wall while making the needles dig deeper. I hit a hard rock wall and slide down. Leaning on it, I see the guy stepping through the hole and smiling.
"Boss is going to be happy when I bring your head to him." He said.
I couldn't lose not like this, but then I feel the familiar energy of a word wall filling me up and I feel my whole body heating up. I let loose al the energy.
"RRRAAAAAAGGGHHH !" Fire appears all into the room and everything gets burned to a crisp. After I calmed down, I lean down on one knee and drink one of my health potions. Karl appears through the hole and helps me up. I lean on him and he takes me back to the plane.

A few hours later

As I finally reached home, I enter my room and let my body hit the bed. But first, I call Tony.
"It's done." I say in a tired tone.
"Good. You have done well. My men are setting everything up there. The money is being wired to your account. Goodnight."
What a night.
