When The Blizzard Hits: A Power Rangers Ninja Storm Story

Quest For the Zord part 1

A/N: This will be her outfit for the whole arc. As for the others, just think of something that they normally wear. The leopard zord will be kind of like the jaguar zord from Wild Force only much larger and white with gold instead of brown with black. Enjoy!

It was a week since their debacle on the island and their fight with Choobo and they still haven't been able to find any trace of the leopard zord. Cam and Sofia were working overtime with the research, especially Sofia. Her friends were all worried about her because they felt that being tired would affect her performance as a ranger.

"I found something," Sofia exclaimed one day.

"What'd you find," Hunter asked.

"My zord! It says here that my zord can be found in the Desert of Despair," she answered as the five other rangers, Cam, and Sensei gathered around her to see the book that she was skimming through.

"Huh," the four rangers asked in confusion.

"What's the Desert of Despair," Blake questioned.

"Cam, do you want to explain," Sofia offered.

"The Desert of Despair," Cam started, pulling up the data logs about the place on his computer.

"In 1995, the Mighty Morphin' Power Ranger team, the first ranger team, traveled to this desert in search of Ninjor, the Ninja Master. Their other powers had just been destroyed, so they searched for the Ninjetti Power Coins to defeat a new threat. The Desert of Despair is home to the Temple of Power," Cam explained.

"That's great and all, Cam, but what does it have to do with Sofia and her zord," Hunter rebuked.

"My dad was the leader of this team of power rangers and-" Sofia began.

"Your dad was the first red ranger," Shane interrupted.

"No, actually he was the white ranger, like me. He did become a red ranger later, but that's a story in itself," Sofia answered.

"As I was saying, if anybody knows how to navigate this place, it's him. We just need to go talk to him and he can tell us how to find my zord," she finished.

"You mean-" Dustin started.

"Yep, you, my friends, are going to meet my dad. He's visiting his old teammates in Angel Grove. It's not that far. We can go there and back in one or two days," Sofia assured her friends.

"Yes! Road trip," Hunter, Blake, Dustin, Tori, Shane, and Cam celebrated.

"Ahem," Sensei coughed.

"Oh sorry, Sensei. If it's alright with you," Sofia apologized.

"Yes, you may go. Just be alert for any attacks," Sensei ordered.

"Yes, Sensei. Thank you," Sofia and the rest bowed to their mentor.

They walked outside and it was already night. They decided to go their separate ways for the night.

"Good night, handsome," Sofia whispered.

"Good night, beautiful," Hunter whispered back.

She grabbed the back of his head and pulled him into a passionate kiss. He was surprised, but he snaked his strong arms around her waist and kissed back. They parted, but they kept a stronghold on each other.

"I should get home to Tori before she flips," Sofia stated apologetically.

"Yeah, I'll catch you tomorrow," he said.

Later that night:

Sofia walked alone through the rock quarry. It was the middle of the morning.
