"Man, I'm worked," Dustin complained as the seven rangers strolled into Ninja Ops after a long morning of workouts.

"So am I. 10-mile run, two fight simulations, and an obstacle course," Blake listed.

"Don't forget two hours of hard meditation," Hunter reminded him as he pulled off his gloves with his mouth.

"I don't know what you're talking about. I feel great," Sofia exclaimed.

"Your dad must've taught you something, he's, like, a super ranger," Hunter countered.

"You're right! He did teach me something and it's called... training," Sofia told him with the emphasis on the 'training.' Hunter threw a sarcastic grin her way.

"Even you look tired. Training finally getting to you?" Dustin asked the hunched over Red Ranger.

"I'm not getting a lot of sleep. I keep having this weird dream," Shane tiredly wiped his eyes.

"You should pay attention to those. Sensei says your dreams can tell you a lot about yourself," Tori said.

"Speaking of Dad, where is he?" Cam wondered. "Dad?"

"Look," Tori said as she walked around Dustin to Sensei's hut where a small note hung. "Rangers, I have gone on a meditation retreat to reflect on and recharge my inner ninja. In my absence, enjoy a well-deserved day off." Sofia noticed Tori go quiet at the last part and she knew why.

"Aw, yeah," the boys celebrated.

"No way! Is that what it says?" Shane asked as he took the note from Tori.

"Yeah," Tori answered sadly.

"Well, I'm thinking maybe, uh, the track then a movie or... maybe a movie and then the track," Dustin decided. The boys snickered at the earth ninja's indecisiveness. Tori turned around with a forlorn expression on her face.

"Hey, Tor, what's the matter? Come on, don't tell me you can't deal with a day off," Blake teased.

"No, a day off is great, especially tomorrow. I just thought Sensei would be around for... you know," Tori replied.

"What?" Hunter cluelessly asked. Sofia crammed herself between Tori and Dustin and slung an arm around her shoulders.

"Don't worry Tori. If these boys don't figure it out soon then we can have a girl's day out tomorrow, huh?" Sofia assured as she glared at the male rangers. A look of realization appeared on Shane's face.

"Oh, man! Are we stupid? 'Cause tomorrow... it is your birthday," Shane sang.

"Finally, somebody remembers," Sofia grumbled as the boys broke into cheers. Sofia walked next to Blake as Dustin wrapped an arm around Tori.

"How about a beach party?" Dustin suggested. The boys cheered even louder.

"What do you say, Tor?" Blake asked.

"Alright sure. Sounds great to me," Tori agreed.

"Alright, meet at the beach first thing in the morning," Hunter planned. He high-fived Shane. The rangers turned to leave.

"Just make sure you get enough sleep tonight. I think something might be something special after all," Tori ordered Shane.

The next morning:

Cam drove Tori's van to the beach where Blake and Hunter were already waiting. Blake tapped Hunter on the shoulder to let him know that the others had arrived.
