Like a prisoner in confinement,

I am stuck in my own cage,

This body that defines me,

isn't me.

This cage is suffocating,

I feel forever alone,

Like solitary confinement, 

I am going distraught.

Every day is a struggle,

Why was I chosen for this torment,

What did I do to deserve this,

I'm sorry,

Whatever I did I'm sorry,

Money?

I need money to fix me,

I'll do anything to be myself,

This cage is not me,

This body is not me,

screw the metaphor,

please god if money is what you need,

doctor please set me free...
