Carla's pov:

"Oh great!" I exclaimed as I stepped out of the nice warm, cafe only to have the sky dump a bucket of water on my head.

I lifted my jacket above my head and turned to Tom who was standing behind me, we had decided to catch up today, and it had been wonderful. We both walked to the cafe, not thinking it would rain on our way home - oh well. Two weeks ago the London News released the article about Tom and I, and in that time I had grown accustomed to getting lots of Instagram DM's, not all good, and sometimes being approached on the street. Of course, my friends all called me and wanted to know everything about how I was dating Tom Hiddleston. I explained we weren't together, and we were just friends, to which Jay, Ivy, and Lola were very supportive, Sara, on the other hand, sounded almost relived, leading me to wonder if she had a crush on him.

"Here take my jacket," Tom offered, starting to take it off his shoulders, but I stopped him.

"You need protection too," I stated, "we'll both just end up a little wet that's all."

He laughed, "eheheheh, alright then."

We started walking and about five minutes later realized it had been a mistake, the rain was getting heavier, not lighter, "Tom, we're getting soaked!" I yelled in a half-amused half annoyed tone.

Tom just laughed, "you know you'd think I'd have known it was going to rain today, having grown up here."

Before I could reply, the rain started coming down progressively heavier every second until I could barely see anything in front of me. I was becoming a very, very soaked human. The raindrops splashing onto the cement made a loud crashing sound that was so loud I had to yell so my fellow soaked human could hear me.

"Why did this have to happen the day I decide to take a half-hour walk instead of driving?!" I shouted, still holding my jacket over my head, though it was doing nothing to protect me.

"Oh the universe thought it'd give us a shower," Tom replied with a laugh.

I shook my head and giggled, then started to laugh my head off, it wasn't the funniest of situations, but for some reason, my brain thought it was hilarious.

Tom tapped me on the shoulder, leaning against my ear so I could hear him he spoke, "my place is not far from here, two streets down, we can wait out the storm there, and I'll drive you home later."

I nodded my response, and followed him for five more minutes until we arrived at a large apartment complex, that we entered, and took the stairs so as not to drench the elevator. A few moments later we arrived at number 89, and Tom opened the door for me, closing it behind us both.

We both sighed heavily then laughed, "wow, that was as adventure!" I stated.

"It certainly was," Tom agreed, then stepped closer to me, placing his hands on my shoulders, "you will take the first shower, no protests."

I fought back the urge to joke that I had already been given a shower by the rain, and agreed as he showed me to the bathroom.

Before stepping into the warm running water I realized I had no dry clothes, wrapping a towel around me I walked back to the living room and found Tom, who was waiting with a towel wrapped around his shoulders, "hey I just realized I have no dry clothes," I admitted.

"Oh of course, I'm sorry," he answered, and made his way to a bedroom and returned a few moments later with a grey hoodie, "it's pretty baggy, so it should be ok until you get home."

I took it from him and smiled, "thank you, I won't take long," I stated as I headed for the shower.
