As I'm getting ready in the bathroom I lean against the counter and check my phone
Jas: you getting ready girl ? -11:30 a.m
yes, can't wait to hang and relax, where we going for lunch? -11:32 a.m
Jas: I was thinking Popeyes, and then we go see a movie and grab dinner at the mall. How does that sound ? -11:35 a.m
That sounds amazing, I dead need a break from school -11:37 a.m
Jas: ok bet 👌🏾 sounds like a plan I'm finish getting ready text me when your close to my room - 11:38 a.m
After I finish texting Jas, I quickly go back to putting some shine and mousse on my box braids focusing more on the ends since I have them curled. After getting my hair situated, I get my bag and make sure I got all I need while grabbing my coat and heading out the door.
I lock up and and head down the stairs ready to meet up with Jas.
As I get closer to Jas's dorm, some guy walking backwards and not paying attention bumps into me
"Yo, my bad mamas, you good ?" He says bending down to help me up
"It's no problem, no harm don-" I say in the process of standing up and dusting my self off
"Oh my gosh" I say while laughing "we have got stop meeting like this"
"Yes,yes we do" Roman says while chuckling
"Where you headed, forgot your detergent again?" He says jokingly
"No" I say rolling my eyes playfully "I'm walking to meet my friend at her dorm"
"Oh ok that's nice, I was just coming from doing a little walk of the place even though I been here a week, I never really got to know my way around"
"Oh that's good your trying to learn the campus, even though it's a small it's still very easy to get lost. Well it was nice seeing you again but I have to get going" I say about to walk off
"You know I could always use a tour" Roman yells trying to get my attention
"And seeing as you owe me, I don't see a problem with you being my tour guide" he's says smirking
" ok two things " I say quickly walking back towards him
"one how do I owe you ? " and two I actually wouldn't mind giving you a tour but I have to go."
"I have plans already and I'm about to be late " I say glancing at my phone and seeing that it's already eleven fifty five
"You owe me for bumping into me this morning little miss 'laundry detergent' " he's smirking
"Ok well, you just bumped into me so I say we even" I say smirking back
"Ok we even, you got a little fire in you I like that " He says while chuckling and then looking up at me
"But I still want that tour, and you seem like you know this place pretty well what do you say mamas?
Oh how I love how he calls me that I think to myself
"Ok I'm down, how does tomorrow sound ?"
"Bet, lets met in the lounge around five"
"Ok cool I'll see you then" I say about to walk off
