Y/N was drowning, she was drowning and the water was filling up her lungs at an ungodly pace, like it had been waiting for her, like it wanted to take over all of her. Her arms and legs flailed about fruitlessly, but her head was constantly being shoved down, lower and lower. She could hear a voice, a soft voice calling her name. Warm hands were on her arms attempting to halt and minimise her movements. Why were they stopping her, were they trying to kill her?
"Y/N L/N. Wake up." Johnny spoke softly in hopes that his voice would not startle her. Doyoung held her head back down on the bed, he felt as if he was treating some mental patient. "Your dosage was too strong, Doyoung, I told you not to inject it all." Johnny hissed at the other.
"Yeah, well, seeing her face for the first time after she shot my leg made it far too tempting," The latter rolled his eyes as the girl shook beneathe his hand. "I still don't regret it." He added.
"Just wait until Taeyong finds out you already broke her before she entered, dipshit." The other male threatened, opening his mouth to continue when he stopped abruptly, his eyes on the female.
Y/N squinted, the bright light assaulting her eyes and causing a throbbing pain to course through her whole head. She heard a whisper of her name again. Where was she?
"Y/N."
"See, she's fine."
"What happened?" Jungwoo questioned as he arrived, shock evident on his features as he stopped midway in the doorframe.
Wasn't that Jungwoo of NCT?
Then it clicked. All the memories came flooding back into her head, forcing their way into her already pained brain. Her eyes flew open, wide and full of horror as she examined the faces in front of her. Before any of them could even begin to register what was happening, she kicked upwards, getting Johnny's back, causing him to jump backwards and release his hold on her hands. She rolled out from Doyoung's grasp, and ran to where Jungwoo stood, his arms limp and his brows furrowed in confusion. Taking his astonishment to her advantage, she pushed him out of the way and she ran out of the room.
"Well, she has... escaped." Jungwoo finished, eyeing the two other defeated males.
