It's Friday now, and this week was tiring, between all the classes, the photography club, and the Portuguese classes with Jack that end up not really being classes at all. I'm now sitting on the lunch table, with Josh, Talia and other club members, I've been splitting my lunch breaks between these table and my group's. They took it well, as they did with Flynn when he eventually made the team and started sitting with them.
Jack and I have been keeping up the secret friends thing, only giving each other glances in school and hanging out everyday after school, since we still don't have that much assignments to accomplish. He and Daisy seem to be getting along really well and I've learned to put up with it, I guess I have to understand that I'm Jack and Diane's friend and if they eventually get together, I should be happy.
Jack, on the other hand, doesn't seem to be amused with me making new friends, since every time I sit at this table, he gives me deadly glares for the day. I find it weird but I suppose he is just worried I won't be able to keep my end of the deal if I start hanging out with them after school.
Today, I'm going over to Jack's again, and since my curfew is later, Jack decided today was the day I would be cooking for them. I haven't met any more sister's of his, even though I know one of them is an adult now and doesn't live with them anymore, I haven't seen his little sister Claire around.
As for Stacy and Lydia, they are getting more comfortable around me. Stacy, being only a year older, likes to have girl talks with me whenever Jack is busy, and I find myself laughing like crazy at her college stories, wondering if next year I'll be experiencing it.
I've been thinking about attending college in the states, realizing I like life here and the college one seems even nicer, apart from all studying and stuff. If I don't manage to make it, I will go back to Portugal, and take my degree there.
" Are you in, Larissa?" Josh asks, breaking my transe and I give him a confused look " We are going over to the park after school" he explains, giving me a hopeful look along with Talia.
"If I go, I'll only be there like an hour" I tell them, Jack has basketball practice today, to prepare for the game next Friday and he will be driving me to his house after.
" That's ok, at least you'll spend some time with us" Talia smiles and I nod, as they start to chat about other topics, that I'm completely off about since I had my mind elsewhere.
I take my phone out, realizing I have to text Jack and ask if he can pick me up in the park. I look over to his table, he is talking to his friends and is phone is right next to him, so I hope he had his sound on.
Me
Can you pick me up at the park after practice?
I hit the send button and watch as he gets the notification, he checks his phone, reading the message and looks over at me, not even giving me a smirk! I swear I hate moody Jack.
Jack Jerk De Luca
Why?
I roll my eyes at his message, and look up to see him already looking at me. I shake my head before answering.
Me
Hanging out with the photography club.
Jack Jerk De Luca
Will Josh be there?
Me
Yes, he is the captain remember?
Jack Jerk De Luca
I don't really like him.
I give a questioning look over to him, not getting why he doesn't like Josh, he is a really sweet guys.
