Upon Midnight

Prologue

"I won't sign those divorce papers Max, you know it." Sabi ko sa asawa ko.

"I'm done Uno. Maghiwalay na tayo", sabi nya and she's so damn persistent about this divorce.

"I said I. DONT. WANT. TO. Bakit ba ang kulit mo?" Naiinis na ako sakanya.

"Eh sa ayaw ko na nga eh!! Bakit ba ayaw mong maki cooperate Uno?!?" Sigaw nya. Fuck her loud voice, it's getting annoying now.

"You don't get to decide things on your own Max." Nauubos na talaga ang pasensya ko sakanya.

"Please, Uno. Pakawalan mo na ako. Ayoko na!" Sigaw nya. I fucking love it when she calls my name like that.

"Uno I -" She was about to say something when I suddenly kissed her. I sealed her lips with mine. It was so wonderful. Her lips was so wonderful.

"Tell me to sign those papers when you don't kiss me back, honey." Sabi ko at saka lumabas ng kwarto. I need fresh air. Talking back to her was intense! Wooh.

Lumabas ako ng subdivision para bumili ng beer. I need to chill out from what happened earlier. She was so dedicated in making me sign those papers. Come to think of it, being dedicated is one of the things I loved about her.

After 3 cans of beer, I decided to come back. I'm already getting sleepy. Who doesn't? It's 4 in the morning and my wife was nagging at me! Haha she's one heck of a wife.

I went up to our room and found her sleeping. She's so cute when she's asleep. Parang hindi siya dragon kung makipag away saakin. I went to her and kissed her forehead.

"Even if you say that you're done, even if you hate me, I'll still love you. Even if you don't love me for the rest of your life, I'll love you for the rest of mine." I whispered in her ears. I laid beside her untill darkness filled my consciousness.
