Hi. Our names are Sydney and Alaska(pen names ofc). We're both 18 and have been writing since a few years.
The title of our book is a phrase written by our favourite writer, Colleen Hoover (in the book 'it ends with us'). For us it's confessions. The google definition is, and I quote, 'plain unadorned facts, without concealment or embellishment.'
We like calling our poetry Slams because of Colleen as well. She has described it as a competition in her books, 'Slammed' & 'Point of Retreat'. For us, it's something deeper than a poem.
We've always wanted to make an account somewhere and since we're both addicted to Wattpad, we thought, why not here?
So this is our first try, hope you will join us as we navigate life through heartbreak, darkness, happy & sad memories and so so much more. Thankyou.
