(nervously checks the time while he clutches onto his favourite yellow hoodie)

haru:
"ning!"

(haru exclaims as she runs to hueningkai to engulf him in a hug)

"what's up? you said it was urgent,"

hueningkai:
(continues embracing haru)
"do you remember this place?"

haru:
(looks at the store they stood in front of)
"Blue Orangeade? what about it? are you treating me to ice cream?"

(wiggles her eyebrows teasingly causing hueningkai to laugh)

hueningkai:
"this is where we first met remember?"

haru:
(eyes light up in realisation)

"yeah! you're that annoying kid who accidentally dropped his mint chocolate chip ice cream cone on my school uniform! that was back in middle school,"

hueningkai:
(blushes and rubs the back of his neck)
"yea, i was a loser back then,"

haru:
(shakes her head in disagreement)

"you're an adorable loser. you helped me clean up and even bought me ice cream! that's when i started crushing on you,"

hueningkai:
(giggles as the reminisce their first encounter)
"we've been inseparable ever since!"

haru:
"clingy brat. anyways, what about it?"

hueningkai:
(cups haru's face with his hands and lets out a shakey breath)

"haru, i haven't been able to thank you for entering my life. you're like a blessing sent from heaven and you don't even realise it. we've had our good and bad moments, i continue to cherish it all,"

(pauses and smiles cutely at haru)

"i wish to have more of those moments with you, especially the good ones. i want to continue being there at your best and your worst,"

haru:
(blushes at hueningkai's sudden confession)
"what does this mean?"

hueningkai:
(hands haru his favourite yellow hoodie)
"be mine? i promise i'll cause you heartaches as well,"

(playfully winks at haru, who just giggles at his wit)

haru:
(pulls the hoodie over her head to wear it and smiles widely)

"i've always been yours kamal, you just had to ask,"

hueningkai:
(starts fist pumping the air and even carries haru to spin her around)

(kisses his cheeks and laughs at his child-like excitement)
