The Cafeteria

Shuichi's POV

I went along with my classes as usual and nothing out of the ordinary happened. Still, I couldn't help but think about what I was going to do. Kokichi, he seems so nice and like he doesn't have a lot of friends. I don't want to hurt his feelings but then again... There's Kaede, that mean popular girl. She seems really confident to think just because she said so Im going to sit with her.

Now that I think about it she's really...pretty.

Damn! What am I going to do? I could sit by Kokichi and protect his feelings or I could sit by Kaede and potentially not be a loser this year...and not get skinned alive. She seems all cute at first then she shows her true colors. She kinda reminds me of Hiyoko...hopefully she's not as bad.

Well that was the bell, time to pick my poison. I arrived at the lunch room and immediately saw a Kokichi sitting with someone else, a white haired boy who wore a hat, but not like my hat. My hat is definitely superior. I walked over to the table just to see what would happen. Kokichi immediately smiled as he saw me. "Oh! You actually came..." he murmured looking a bit surprised. "Uh yeah sure... but I might have to leave soon..." I said quietly. He looked a bit disappointed after that last part. "Oh, I get it... nobody would w-want to sit with a l-loser like me." He said looking as if he was almost in tears

"N-no! That's not it at all!" I struggled to explain myself. "Well anyways w-while Your here...meet K-Kiibo. He's a robot." He said smiling at the other boy in front of me. 'Robot...?' I asked myself. "Nice to meet your acquaintance. I'm K1B0 but you can call me Kiibo." The robot said. "O-oh Hello there. I'm Shuichi Saihara." I said with a smile.

I'm talking to an actual robot, could this day get any weirder. "Hey Shu! Over here idiot!" Called to me by a familiar voice. 'Damnit...' I thought. "Sorry Kokichi. I have to go now, bye!" I said as I walked over to the other table. I hope Kokichi isn't to mad at me.

As soon as I walked over to the table I was met with another familiar face. The rude purple guy from before, Kaito I think his name was. He looked at me with a suspicious look. "This is the new blood you were talking about Kaede?" Said Kaito looking rather annoyed. "Are you questioning my motives?" She said giving him an equally threatening look. Kaito scoffed and didn't respond.

"Anyways, if there's no more objections, this is Shu. He's new here." Kaede said as I sat down beside her. I looked around at the 3 other people at the table. First there was Kaito, he looked pissed as usual. Then there was another blonde girl, but not Kaede. Her hair was more brown. Then lastly there was a boy with green hair. He looked really familiar. 'No it couldn't be...' I thought to myself as I had a fanboy attack.

Rantaro Amami, he was in the last killing game right?! I can't be wrong? "Um helloooo? Earth to Shu! Called Kaede as she shook me a little. "Hmm, maybe I should do repair on him, he seems broken." Snickered the other blonde girl. "Oh sorry, my names Shuichi if you didn't know." I said trying so hard to seem normal. "Your name is Shu." Kaede said with a scary look. "Ah!" I shrieked a little bit shaken up. God, this is going horribly wrong.

"Don't be intimidated by her. She's all bark and no bite." Said the green haired boy. I felt myself have another fanboy attack. 'I'm talking to someone from an actual Danganronpa game!~' I thought feeling my face flush a bit. "Um excuse me Rantaro, CHOKE AND DIE." Kaede shouted, I felt myself jump a little. Geez what's wrong with this girl...

Rantaro snickered a little bit. "Kaede you could at least try and act civil around the guest. My names Rantaro Amami, Nice to meet ya." Said Rantaro and then I felt my inner fanboy come out. Looks like my suspicions were correct. "Oh and That's Kaito Momota and Miu Iruma." He added. "Oh okay then..." I said. Kaede rolled her eyes. "Anyways Shu, if you're going to sit with us you need to know the ground rules." Kaede said strictly. It's not like I even want to sit here. All of them look like they sniff cocaine.

"Rule number 1. I'm the queen bee here. It's my way or I can run you over on the highway." She said with a smirk. "That's rather violent..." I said. I wouldn't want to die in a lame way like that. I would want a cool execution! "Rule number 2. Don't be fucking weird, we don't want another Miu at this table." Kaede said glaring at Miu. Miu added a "hey!"in protest. So I guess I can't talk about Danganronpa with them. "Rule number 3. Don't be fucking ugly. We have a reputation for looking hot at all times and I'm not going to let you fuck that up." She said

"Sooo do I look okay?..." I asked, I don't think they would've let me sit here if I was ugly. "Um no, take that dumbass hat off." Kaito yelled, he's such an ass! "Shut up Kaito. I think his hat makes him look cute. He's a solid 8." Rantaro said to my surprise. I felt my face heat up like crazy. Is he flirting with me?!?! Kaede gave him a pissed look. "Both of you shut the hell up! I'm the only one who can call Shu cute, and I'm the only one who can call him ugly!" She yelled. At this point I'm blushing like crazy. "Am I cute or am I ugly...?" I murmured trying to hide my bright red face with my hat. I guess that's one thing It's good for.

"Oooooh so you like him Kaede?" Miu teased. Kaede looked as if she was going to have a temper tantrum. "Shut up! I-I don't like him! He's a loser and can't dress! And he's dumb! And his face isn't adorable at all!" She screamed. At this point I just wanna go home and crawl up into a ball, watching dr memes. "Well That's not very convincing Kay-aaaeee-deee." Rantaro dragged out with a smirk. "Fuck this shit I'm out!" Kaede said as she stormed out the cafeteria. I was able to see a glimpse of her face before she left though.
