Little Bear did have moments of weakness in her life, mostly where she failed to defeat someone, but today felt like a major fail. Torvi and Astrid had taken Iona away at Largetha's request, they just didn't expect the fight she would give them. The young blonde was quick to retrieve her small knife dragging it over the skin of Torvi's face before trying to attack Astrid.

Largetha watched the commotion from a short distance. She had to admire her daughter and the skills she had. Stepping in before it became too much, she quickly disarmed her young daughter before throwing her to the floor and standing on her hair and right hand keeping her down. "If you want to end up like Ubbe," Largetha turned her head to the side where the eldest Ragnarsson was being beaten down. "Then carry on, otherwise stop."

Iona stared up at her mother, she needed to calm herself, the rage bubbling at the surface. "I'm good," she snapped as she shoved her mother away with her spare hand before jumping up to her feet.

The blonde shieldmaiden, Torvi was holding her face as she glared at the young woman. "You'll pay for this," she wanted her as she shook her head.

"Try me," Iona dared the woman who stood close to her own mother. "I think you'll find things are going to be very difficult around here. For you," she spoke to Torvi before looking at her mother, "And for you."

Largetha looked at Torvi, "Escort my daughter to her quarters. She is not to leave!"

Torvi and Astrid each grabbed an arm of the young woman before marching her in the direction of the homes. The blonde lied and told them she was living in the house of the four brothers, there she was pushed inside and left.

The young blonde didn't complain, here at the four Prince's home she knew she could find weapons easily to plan her revenge. Searching around, she retrieved a few weapons before setting them on Hvitserk's bed, she needed to make sure she was ready.

Time interrupted her though, the door banging open before Sigurd bust through the doors holding Ubbe. Little Bear rushed to his side, helping to get the eldest of the boys in his bed.

"You can take care of him?" The words flowed easily from the mouth of Sigurd as he looked at the blonde.

Iona removed the shoes of Ubbe as she ignored Sigurd who swiftly left the two alone. "Ubbe," she spoke softly as she glanced up at him. "Please don't try to fight them again," she didn't want him to give up defending his mother but she knew the women that accompanied her mother had been trained to kill, this beating was a warning.

"You are wide," Ubbe managed to croak the words out as he kept his eyes closed.

She pulled at his clothes, "I have to get you undressed. I need to help you."

He reached for her hands, "Please do not worry about me. You have your own battles to face."

"You are my first worry," she didn't want him to get ill from his wounds. She unwrapped his hands from hers before she slowly and gently removed his top layer of clothes before stripping him down to just his thin leggings. "I just want to help you."

Ubbe watched her through the slits of his eyes, the swelling and bruising only allowed a little bit of vision. She was gentle in her approach, she obviously had a soft spot for the brothers that cared for her in return. Iona didn't wish any harm to come to Ubbe, he had stood up for his mother and paid the price. Sigurd had disappeared, Little Bear knew she didn't need to worry about him as much. He had often spoken about his mother's neglect therefore he most probably welcomed her death finally allowing him to be equal to Ivar without her.
