Tae POV
"How you feeling?" I took a deep breath
"Excited" Rose continued to dry my hair
"You know, I thought I had you figured before I even met you"
"Is that so?" She hummed
"Yep"
"And what did you think?"
"Ronelle would always speak highly of you but when you wouldn't see her like you say you would, I could tell she was hurt, it got more obvious the more you flaked out" I looked down
"Yeah... I regret it"
"She started become less and less like I met her, I thought you were a selfish asshole who had her wrapped around your finger but... You aren't bad" I smiled a little
"Thank you"
She smiled at me in the mirror.
"Is it ok if I press your hair? Not all the way, just to get the look I'm going for?"
"Yeah, whatever looks best"

Roo POV
Fuck its time. I'm nervous, what if she changes her mind? No, I know Tae she wouldn't do something like that last minute.
"Why you breathing so damn hard?" I turned and saw him, Jailen
"Oh shit" I immediately got up and hugged him tightly, he chuckled and hugged back
"Miss me?"
"I thought you weren't gonna make it"
"You think I'd miss walking you down the isle? Nah bruh" I pulled back
"You walking me?" He nodded
"It was a surprise"
"Thank you" he hushed me
"We'll have time for the soft shit later, its time" I picked up the bouquet and hooked my arm on his
"Right, right" he smiled
"You look great Roo" I laid my head on his shoulder
"I know"
We walked out together on to the sand and he talked to me as we walked toward the isle. I learned that he was a single dad now and he wasn't in the Army anymore, he was doing his own thing now, he was starting his own business. I was proud of him and how far he had come.
We go to the front of the walkway and I could see all of my family, this was really happening. I'm really getting married, I'm officially settling down. I felt really happy as Jailen walked me down and Tae looked at me with a smile. I released from Jailen's arm before standing across from Tae.
"You look... angelic" I smiled at her
"Thank you, you look phenomenal baby" she took my free and held it
We didn't have one of those pastors, it was just one of my mom's friends who was qualified because Tae and I were both agnostic. We also didn't really see the point in the "we're gathered here today" long ass, stupid ass, unnecessary ass, excruciating shit.
"So we know why we're all here today, so we can go on ahead to the vows"
"I'll go first" I looked at Tae "we've been together for 2 years now and it's been the best years of my life. I've done some things im not proud of but everytime I mess up, everytime I do anything to hurt you somehow you're still there for me, I'm just so grateful for you and how perfect you are to me. I promise that I will love you eternally for the rest of our lives."
