Ever Since That Day
" Mommy look what I made!" Said Himari as she shows her mother her paper airplane. Her mother smiles and said," Is that for Kaito?" Himari runs around the room while gliding her airplane," Yup!" The doorbell rings and Himari's mother walks to the door." Oh. Look who's here Himari! It's Kaito and his parents!" Said Himari's mom as she opens the door. Kaito walks in and Himari jumps at Kaito and hugs him." Big brother Kaito!" Said Himari. Kaito hugs Himari back." Mrs. Sara and Mr. Atsuko welcome!" Said Himari's mother as she insists to take their coats and hanging it on a hook stand. Kaito tugs on his mother's pants and she looked at him." I'm going to play with Himari." Mrs. Sara smiles and said," Go ahead." Kaito's parents walks to the dining room and sits on a chair." I see your husband is working again." Said Mrs. Sara. Himari's mother chuckled as she cooks Massaman Curry." Yup, he's very busy at work this week." Kaito glides an airplane with Himari and they were laughing." Well, we have something to tell you Mrs. Aiko." Said Mr. Atsuko. Atsuko puts the Massaman Curry on two plates and layes it in front of Kaito's parents." What is it?" Said Mrs. Aiko. Mr. Atsuko and Mrs. Sara looked at eachother and didn't have a happy look on their face." Well...we will be moving to a faraway place which is Massachusetts.." Said Mrs. Sara. Aiko slowly sits on a chair and said," Oh is that so..?" There was a long silence until Kaito and Himari came running to the kitchen and Himari said," Look what me and Kaito can do mommy!" Kaito pick up Himari and the grownups make a surprised look on their face. Mr. Atsuko and Mrs. Sara claps their hands and said," What a strong boy!" With a smile. Aiko stares at Himari and saw how happy she was. When it was time for Kaito to leave Aiko said," Himari...you should give Kaito a great big hug before he leaves." With a smile. Himari quickly runs to Kaito and gives him a big hug." Let's play again sometime Kaito!" Said Himari. Kaito smiles and said," See you later." Kaito's parents call him to get in the car and he leaves. Aiko slowly closes the door and looked back at Himari. She was watching a kids show on the tv happy. Aiko sighs and didn't tell Himari that she won't be seeing Kaito for a very long time."
Himari was 3 years old at that time but now it's been 11 years and she has already started her Highschool. She is now a sophomore and forgot everything of what happened before. Himari closes her locker and she heard her friends call her," Himari over here!" Said Katana." Okay I'm coming." Said Himari as she walks over to them. Katana, Julith, and Himari walks to the cafeteria for breakfast." Hey have you guys heard there will be a new student transferring here?" Said Julith. They line up to get their food and Himari said," Um, how does the person look?" Julith grabs her food and Katana grabs her food." I don't know but I heard he is very smart. In his old school he's always been a straight A student. Oh yea the new person is a boy." Said Julith. Himari grabs her food and they all go to an empty table. They sat down and Himari drinks her tea. Katana shows Julith and Himari a meme on her phone and they laughed.
When class started everyone settled down and the teacher came in." Good morning class, we will be having a new student..and so you may come in." Said Himari's science teacher. The door slowly opens and a tall boy with brown hair with glasses enters the classroom. He stands in front of the class and said," Hello, my name is Kaito Ayumi. It's a pleasure to meet you all." Himari wasn't looking at Kaito and was staring out the window. Kaito looked at Himari and back at the class." Okay Kaito, you can sit next to Mathew." Said Himari's science teacher. Kaito walks over to his desk and sits on his chair.
