Distant Memories

When Himari went home after school her mom asked her how was her day. Himari takes off her shoes and puts her backpack down," It was okay." Himari's mom was cooking dinner. Himari then headed to her room and decided to draw. Himari gets a text message from Katana saying," I'm at the store do you guys want anything? My mom wouldn't mind to buy snacks." Himari thinks and replies back," I want a Pocky please." Julith was typing and said," I want Hot Flamas Doritos!" Katana puts a laughing emoji. Himari's mom then called out to Himari," Himari dinners ready!" Himari goes out her room and walks to the kitchen to eat her dinner.
WEEKEND:
Himari Wakes up early in the morning to practice her volleyball. She leaves a note to her mom saying she will be at the park. When Himari got to the park no one was there yet. She goes to the flat grass field and tries to keep bouncing the ball up into the air as she listens to her music. Kaito was walking to the park and saw a teenage girl that looked familiar. He decided to walk to her. He then took the ball when it was in the air and Himari looked at him and got scared," Oh my gosh..! You scared me...I almost slapped you.." Kaito looks at the volleyball and said," You play volleyball?" Himari sighs." No..I'm not good at running and getting the ball.." Kaito gives the volleyball back to Himari and said," What's your name?"." Oh my name? It's Himari." Kaito smiles and said," My name is K-" Himari interrupts him and said," Yea I know your Kaito. Your in my class." Kaito's smile slowly disappeared and he was embarrassed, he then looked at Himari's beautiful Turquoise eyes and he didn't know he was getting close to her face. Himari looked at Kaito awkwardly." Um..." Said Himari as he slowly pushed him away from her face and steps back." Imma be heading home now..." Himari walks away and Kaito watches her go." Hm, I feel like I know her."
MONDAY:
Himari was at school and realized none of her friends were there. She stands alone at morning recess and slowly said in her head," You've gotta be kidding me." When it was time for class the teacher said to be partnered up with someone and Himari didn't have anyone to partner up with. Kaito comes to her and said," Wanna be my partner?" Himari stopped for a moment and just stared at him. She then awkwardly said," Oh uh. Y..yea..?" Kaito grabs her hand and said," Okay cool come sit next to me." Himari's face turned red," OH! DID HE JUST GRABBED MY HAND..?!" Said Himari in her head. Kaito sits down and Himari sits down next to him. He looked at her and smiled. Himari looked at him back and it was so awkward for her. The project they were assigned to do was a body system project. Where you need to name all the names of the body parts. Himari sighs tiredly." Oh come on..I don't even know any of it.." Kaito said to Himari," It's okay I know all of the body parts. Maybe we can keep doing the project at your house?" Himari's brain decided to leave her and the words Kaito said repeated in her head," Am I dreaming." Said Himari in her head. She slowly said," Y...ea...let's do it at my place..."
AFTERSCHOOL:
Himari was at her house eating spaghettis. She saw her mom getting ready for something and said," Where are you going?"." I'll be at the store getting groceries okay Himari?" Said Himari's mom. Himari yawns and eats a meatball," Okay.." Himari's mom leaves and Himari pokes her food with her fork." Why did they gotta bail on me like that..." Someone knocks on the door and Himari gets up to open it. When she opened the door she saw Kaito she then shit her door close. Kaito stared at the door." Um..are you gonna open the door?" Said Kaito as he stands outside. Himari takes a deep breathe in and out and opens the door." Sorry..anyways uh come in!" Kaito walks in and looks around." Do you live alone?" Said Kaito as he takes off his shoe." Oh um no, my mom is just out to get groceries." Kaito was about to head to Himari's room but she quickly closes the door.
