Distant Memories

When school was over for the day Himari walked home. She arrived at her house and gets inside. Her mother was cooking dinner." How was your day at school Himari?" Said her mother. Himari takes off her shoes and yawns." It was normal as always." Said Himari. Her mother places the food on a plate and puts it on the table. Himari sits on the dining chair." So I heard there's a winter dance on Friday." Said Himari's mother.

Himari: Yup.*Eats BBQ Ranch Chicken Tender Salad.*
Himari's mother, Aiko: We can go for a quick shop to look for a beautiful dress for you!
Himari: Um..no it's okay.
Aiko: Why not Himari?
Himari: Because...
Aiko: Because what?
Himari: No boys asked me out...
Aiko: Oh sweetie..I'm so sorry...
Himari: It's okay mom, um anyway could we still go look for my dress cause I'm just gonna go anyway.
Aiko: Okay honey.

THURSDAY:
        During social studies class Himari was doing her work, with Julith and Katana." Oh my gosh have you guys heard that Kaito is moving...?" Said Julith whispering to Katana and Himari. Himari stoped typing and looked at Julith." Hes gonna move after the winter dance." Said Julith. Katana was decorating the slides and said,"He moves a lot." Himari looked over at Kaito and he was working on a project with his friends.
        After school Himari and her mother was shopping at a mall for Himari's dress. While they were shopping Himari so a beautiful white dress. She stares at it. Himari's mother looks at the dress to and saw the price." Oh..you want that dress? I actually have enough money to buy it." Said Himari's mother Aiko." I mean..it looks nice." Said Himari. Aiko smiles and goes inside the store and gets the dress.

FRIDAY:
        Himari was with her friends during recess and Katana shows Julith and Himari a picture of her pink dress designed with flowers." Oh wow that's nice Katana!" Said Julith," Let me show you mine!" Julith shows them a picture of her black dress." Himari smiles." That's nice!" Said Himari." Wait a minute..how does your dress look like?" Said Katana." Um..you'll just see at the winter dance."
        During lunch, Himari was getting her food. Kaito was at a table with his friends. He looks at Himari as she grabs her water. He stares as she walks away.

AFTERSCHOOL:
        Himari's mom, Aiko puts Himari's hair in a braided bun. Meanwhile at the winter dance." Where's Himari..?" Said Julith." I don't know but she said she would be coming.." Said Katana. Katana and Julith's prom date shows up, Damien and Joshua. They walked over to Julith and Katana and held their hand out." Shall we dance?" Said Damien. Katana and Julith smiles and went to dance with their prom date.
Kaito leans against a wall as he holds a drink. He looks at everyone dancing. A group of girls came by Kaito and said," Hey let's dance handsome." A girl touches Kaito's arm." Um..no it's okay I'm actually waiting for someone." Said Kaito." Oh okay..let's go girls."
Himari's mom drops Himari off and said," Have fun sweetie!" Himari gets out the car and smiles as she waves goodbye to her mom." Okay bye mom!" Her mom drives off and Himari looks around." Oh..I think their already in the building." Himari goes to the gym and slowly opens the door. She walks in and there was a lot of people. She goes somewhere where there isn't a lot of people. She then saw Katana and Julith dancing with their date. Himari smiles and watches them as they dance. Kaito saw Himari standing near the bathroom area and slowly puts down his drink. He walks through a crowd of people and walked over to Himari. He stands next to her and watches her friends dancing with their date to. Himari knew Kaito was next to her.

Kaito: Himari. Do you remember anything when you were little?
Himari: I remember..a boy. Every time he came over we would always play together. I gave him a paper airplane..but one day he left. He said we would meet again..

Kaito pulls out a paper airplane and Himari makes a surprised look on her face. Kaito smiles and said," I forgot to give you mine."
