A/N: This is a character×mother reader and S/N stands for son's name :)
"You're just like Spooder Man! But with tape!" exclaimed S/N. The hero smiles down at my son before crouching to his eye level. "I love Spooder Man! I watched his movies all the time when I was little," the hero informs my son. S/N looks at him with stars in his eyes.
"Awesome!" he shouts and I walk closer towards my son after realizing we need to go. "S/N, we need to get going. And I'm sure our pro hero needs to go as well," I say kindly. "Thank you so much," I whisper to the hero as he stands up again. "It's no problem miss . . . " he trails off not knowing my name. "L/N. L/N Y/N," I reply. He nods and although I can't see his face through his helmet, I'm guessing he has a smile fixed up.
"I'm Cellophane, the taping hero," he responds giving me just his stage name. "Thank you Cellophane. I hope we meet again some time," I say honestly and start walking away with my son pulling at my hand. I wave goodbye before continuing to take my son to day care.
Several weeks later~
I dodge the villain's attack by dropping to my knees and bending backwards. My predictability never fails me and as I get up I jump when he tries to swipe at my feet. I know I have to stay on the defensive and not risk getting in trouble with the authorities. "Damn it!" he shouts at me and it's only then that I recognize him as my son's father.
My shock overrides my sensibility and he lands a blow to my side sending my flying towards the alley wall. I let out an exasperated groan as I hold my side. I can't keep getting distracted. "What do you want Shane," I spit. "You little bitch. You think you can just run away and live a peaceful life? Not for as long as I live," he slurs drunkenly.
So that's why he's doing this; he's not in his right mind. As he tries to grab me I summersault backwards and stand. I lean against the wall for support. His hit was a lot harder than I thought it would be. "Where's S/N?" he demands as he wipes his forehead full of sweat. "I'm not at leisure to inform you of that Shane," I reply with venom flooding my voice.
He scowls at me and tries to once again grab me but is stopped by somebody behind him. "Hey, what are you-" he's cut off when the person wraps him up with some sort of material, sealing his mouth in the process. The man leaves Shane on the ground and walks towards me. "Are you alright miss?" he asks and when he's close enough I realize it's Cellophane. I sigh in relief before collapsing into his arms.
Sero's POV
After sending the criminal to the police station, I decided to bring L/N home with me to fix her up. I still don't know where her son is and I'm hoping she can tell me when she wakes up. I carry her on my back and upon reaching my condo complex I go into the elevator dragging the stares of the people in the lobby.
When we get inside I gently set her on the couch. I need her to wake up so that I can take care of her injuries and find out where her son is. I might as well change and make some dinner while waiting for her to get up.
L/N's POV
I wake up, on something comfortable? I look at my surrounds which seem to describe a living room. But who's living room am I in? I sit up and immediately clutch my aching side. I lift up my shirt slightly to see a giant bruise and what looks like some internal bleeding. Damn it. I thought I had gotten rid of Shane for good.
I hear some soft clanging and noise coming from the room next to me. That must be where the person who saved me is. I try to stand but immediately falter when I feel a sharp pain in my ankle. "Crud buckets!" I shout as I try to grip onto anything to ease my fall. A man immediately comes sprinting in and rushes to my aid.
