Clarke fell into your arms as the radiation came. Breaking both of your helmets. All you could do was hold her as she looked at you shocked, angry, and scared. You were in pain from the radiation but that didn't matter, Clarke is all that mattered. The last thing you remembered was kissing Clarke's forehead and then everything went black.

Your eyes fluttered open as you felt your hand being held. You instantly saw Clarke's tear stained cheeks. She was crying. You went to wipe away her tears and she realized you were awake, instantly she hugged you. When she pulled away she punched you in the arm. Hard.
"Ow what was that for!?"
"You could've died! I thought you died..."
You saw Clarke choke back a sob as she put her head down. You lifted her chin looking into her eyes. Placing her hand over your heart.
"I'm alive, it'll take a lot more then Praimfaya 2.0 to kill me."
Clarke couldn't help but smile at you, but then quickly her expression changed.
"Why'd you stay (y/n)? You could've been up there with our friends right now. How'd you know you'd survive the radiation?"
The truth is you didn't. You stayed silent for a moment, not sure if you should tell her the truth or not. After a moment you decided on the truth.
"I didn't... All I knew is that if you weren't with me, it wasn't worth it. I love you Clarke... So damn much."
Next thing you knew Clarke crashed her lips into yours. It took you a moment to process what was happening before you started to kiss her back, grabbing her waist while she tangled her hands in your hair. The kiss was passionate and it expressed all the feelings you two had for each other. When breathing became an issue you two broke apart and you leaned your foreheads against each other.
"I love you too (y/n)."
You two spent a few minutes just holding each other. You felt safe in each others arms and it felt as if the world didn't just end because you had each other. At one point you both realized that you had to get out of the lab and try to make your way to the bunker. So after an internal struggle of not wanting to let each other go you finally got up and collected some supplies to start your journey.
When you two finally dug your way out of the lab you gasped at the sight. Everything was gone. It was all just a dead, empty, desert. There was nothing left of the once beautiful island. You could see that Clarke was having a very similar reaction by the look on her face. You continued on and started to look for the rover. It would make traveling a lot easier for the both of you. Finally after a while you saw Clarke digging something up and she called you over. It was the rover. You both started digging and when you were done you got in and started your journey to the bunker. The journey was overall silent until you looked over and saw Clarke's worried expression.
"Clarke you ok?"
"Do you think they're ok (y/n)?"
"Who? Bunker team or Space squad?"
Clarke chuckled at your names for them but then frowned again.
"Both? What if the satellite didn't work? What if the bunker didn't hold? (Y/n) I'm worried."
You took one hand off of the steering wheel and held her hand. You squeezed it reassuringly. Clarke looked at you and you smiled.
"They're all ok Clarke. You got the satellite to work. Raven is probably super excited that she finally got her space walk after all this time. As for the bunker it survived the first Praimfaya, it'll be ok now. Don't worry love, it'll all turn out ok."
That was apparently exactly what Clarke needed to hear because you could see her visibly calm down. The rest of the way was a bit of conversation here and there, but overall there was a comfortable silence between you two, never letting go of eachothers hands.
When you got to Polis the sight broke your heart a bit. Everything was destroyed. The tower collapsed and the bunker was also sticking under rubble. You and Clarke both decided to get to work removing the rubble.

You and Clarke finally reached the door but couldn't get it open. There was even more rubble and it was too big for you two to move by yourselves. Clarke started hitting the door. Yelling to her mom that she's here, but it was no use. Suddenly their surroundings started to rumble and (y/n) quickly dragged Clarke out of their. Hardly getting out before it all came down.
Clarke didn't want to leave but you knew that if you didn't leave soon to look for food and water that you both would die.
"Clarke we have to go... They're safe down there, but we need to find more supplies or we'll die out here."
Clarke knew you were right and you got in the rover and headed to Arkadia. Or at least what was left of it. When you drove through the gates of the place you once called home your heart broke. You kept trying to stay strong for Clarke but this sight was the last straw as you broke down crying. Clarke wrapped her arms around your waist as you nuzzled your face into her neck. You hadn't realized how real all of this was until now. The only family you had since your parents died are all either dead or stuck in space or even in a bunker. The only thing that helped was that Clarke was there to calm you down. Now it was her turn to be there for you.
"Shhhh it'll be ok (y/n) this isn't forever. We'll see them again."
You calmed down and gave Clarke a quick kiss and smiled. The two of you headed inside the Ark to look for whatever supplies you could find. When you gathered everything you could you met Clarke back at the rover. She was holding Jasper's goggles, Maya's iPod and a letter addressed to Monty. Both of you agreed to give it to Monty when he got back so you didn't open it.
As you said goodbye to your old home one more time you couldn't help but remember how it all started. When you, Clarke and the rest of the 100 were sent down here to the ground. None of you would have expected this to be the outcome. This time Clarke said she would drive as she noticed you still weren't up for it. You plugged in Maya's iPod and played the first song you saw. Radioactive by Imagine Dragons.
"Really (y/n)?"
"What? I thought it was appropriate!"
You both laughed as you drove off, not knowing really where you would go next. Just hoping for the best. At least you had each other.
