Always and Forever (Clarke Griffin x fem!reader)

Chapter 3

You woke up to a bang from outside. You looked towards the window and there you saw the little girl. Before you could even get up she was gone once again, and when you looked around you realized your stuff was gone too. As much as you didn't want to you woke up Clarke.

"Clarke. Clarke. Baby.... CLARKE!"

she jolted awake holding her heart. "ARE YOU TRYING TO KILL ME!?" you couldn't help but laugh at her.

"No that wouldn't benefit me at all." you joked but then remembered what happened.

"Our stuff is gone and I just saw that little girl again. I think she took it." Clarke got up and had a look in her eyes that looked like she was planning something. She got up slowly and grabbed your hand. You knew what she was thinking and you silently agreed. You gave Clarke a stick to help her walk on her hurt leg and you both went to find the girl.

Finally you two found the little girl by the lake. She looked like she was fishing. Clarke sat down by the water and put her leg in the lake. You sat down next to her and held her hand. The little girl stopped for a bit and looked at you two.

"(y/n) can you pass me my sketch pad and something to draw with?" you looked into your bag and gave Clarke what she asked for. She started to delicately sketch on the paper. You always loved to watch Clarke draw. She even taught you how to draw when you two were younger. Soon the drawing started to turn into a portrait of the girl. It looked amazing. Soon Clarke finished the drawing and you helped her get up. Clarke walked over and put the drawing on the ground and walked towards you. She grabbed your hand.

"let's go." as you two went back to your new home you looked back to see the little girl pick up the drawing and smile. She looked towards you and Clarke and for the first time you didn't see "the child from hell" as Clarke may or may not have called her earlier, but a little girl with innocence in her eyes.

This continued for a few days. Clarke would leave a drawing, the girl would pick it up, and with each drawing you saw her get friendlier and friendlier. Finally the little girl walked up to you when Clarke went to look for food (even though you scolded her because her leg was still hurt) She looked nervous so you decided to start the conversation.

"Hi, I'm (y/n). What's your name?" The little girl fiddled with her hands and finally spoke up after a few minutes.

"Madi"

You and Clarke decided that being engaged for 3 years was long enough. You two wanted to be able to call each other wives, so you decided to have a small ceremony with just the two of you and Madi. You both talked that you could do it again when everyone's reunited, but you just couldn't wait anymore.  Madi asked if she could help you get ready so she was with you. You had no idea where Clarke was. All she said was she needed to take care of something and left with the rover. So here you were with a truckload of anxiety, waiting for your future wife to come back so you can finally get married.

Madi sensed you're nerves and tried to calm you down. As always.

"(y/n) calm down Clarke will be back soon, and then you guys will finally get married!" Madi was always the biggest fan of yours and Clarke's relationship. Clarke would tell her stories about everyone you guys knew. How she met them all, the adventures everyone went on. However Madi's favorite story of all was the story of how you and Clarke fell in love. She made Clarke retell it about a million times. She even made you tell it from your point of you. She always told you that she wanted to grow up and find someone who would look at her the way you and Clarke look at each other.

Finally from a distance you saw the rover driving towards the two of you. Clarke hopped out of it with a small box in her hand. She walked up to you and showed you what was inside. Two wedding rings.

"Where did you get these?"

"When we were clearing things out of Mount Weather before it was destroyed, we found a whole box of wedding rings. We took them back to Arkadia and I forgot about them until this morning." She smiled and your heart almost exploded.

"Well what are you two waiting for?" You and Clarke laughed at Madi's impatience, but quickly calmed down and went on with the small ceremony.

You and Clarke were finally married! You couldn't believe it. You just kept looking at your ring in awe. Madi freaked out when you two said your vows. She thought it was so adorable. Clarke came up behind you and wrapped her arms around your waist.

"What's on your mind Mrs. Griffin" you smiled and chuckled at Clarke's dorkiness.

"Just how much I love you." the truth is all you were thinking about was how you wish your friends could be here. You missed them a lot. Especially Raven and Octavia. They were your best friends and you wished you could have shared all of this with them.

"I miss them too (y/n). 2 more years and the Space Squad will be back on the ground. They'll help us open the bunker and then we'll have a super cheesy wedding." Clarke always knew what was really on your mind. It was like her superpower. You decided to not thinking about everyone for now and just focus on your life with Clarke and Madi, your family.

"I love you Clarke."

"I love you too."
