I am so proud of myself! It's been a week that Amelia has been here and I've not forgotten her name! Angel has been amazing here! She cooks and cleans and doesn't demand me to help but ask! She ask for me to help! God she's amazing!

"Hi Ashoka!" The older Latin woman looks at me while Santana laughs "What? Did i miss out making breakfast?!"

"My name isn't Ashoka" I cringe and she pats me on the shoulder "Been a week and that's the worst one you've come up with"

"I'm trying and I've gotten it a couple of times!" I grab a waffle that she made and take a bite out of it before continuing "Dis ss a est wver!"

"Mouth closed when eating!" I show Santana my food in my mouth and she glares "I am so remembering that"

"We're gonna miss your appointment if we don't go" I grab my bag and Santana's "Come on"

"I was wondering" We both stop and look at Amelia who looks very nervous "I was wondering if I could take her to her appointment? Maybe have a mom and daughter day?"

"I think that sounds amazing" I drop Santana's bag down by the door "I could go hang out with the old gay gang, aka Kurt and Blaine, and watch some musicals this girl won't"

"They bore me!" I roll my eyes but smile when she elbows me "But I think it sounds wonderful too"

"Great!" Amelia takes off toward the stairs "I'm gonna go get my keys and a jacket!"

When she disappears I smile at Santana "She's really trying" I crouch down and grab her hands "She really does care for us and mostly for you"

"I know" Santana smiles super wide "Now go or you'll be late!"

"Aye aye mom!" She punches me and I laugh "Abuse! I'm being abused by my spouse!"

"Yeah yeah" I turn when the door opens "Love you Seb!"

"I love you San" I give one last smile before walking out the door "Solo day...haven't done one in a while...wonder how it'll be"

"Do you want a magazine? Or uh how about your headphones?" I shake my head at my mom "Sorry I'm being annoying I just wanna help"

"She new to this?" I turn and see Kaylee-the lady who's gets treatment beside me-sitting in her chair "Must be your long lost mom? Or you have a twin you and Seb didn't tell me about"

"It's my Mami" My mom gives a big smile and waves "Her name is Amelia, Mami meet Kaylee!"

"Hi Kaylee" The nurse puts Kaylees Chemo stuff on her "So I don't wanna sound rude but...no I shouldn't...nevemind"

"I have stage 2 ovarian cancer" Kaylee is the only lady I know that'd smile saying that because of what follows "But don't be sad I've been able to have three girls when they said I shouldn't because of all of this"

"That could be very inspirational to girls or women who have it or have a chance" Kaylee nods still smiling "How are your girls?"

"The oldest is rowdy, the middle is the calmest, and the youngest" Kaylee chuckles as she shakes her head "Don't even get me started"

"I just got back into my girls life" I see my mom turn toward me "We are having a mom and daughter day today"

"That's the best way to bond in my opinion" Kaylees phone goes off and she picks it up "Uh this is Kaylee...oh uh ok...well I'm just beginning my chemo for today...yeah I guess I could come back"

Kaylee hangs up the phone and isn't smiling "Is everything ok?" Kaylee shakes her head "What's wrong?"

"One of my girls got sick and I'm gonna have to pick her up now and drive her to Frank" Kaylee sighs "It was nice meeting to you Amelia"

"I can pick her up for you" we both look at my mom "You seem to mean a lot to my daughter so it's the least I could do for someone who has been there while I couldn't"

"You'll need my signature to sign her out" my mom pulls out a pad of paper and hands it to Kaylee who smiles "Thank you! She's at the elementary school and her name is Kenzie"

"Kenzie at elementary school got it!" My mom grabs the pad of paper and gives me a kiss on the forehead "I'll be back sweetie!"

We watch her quickly leave "So that's your mom huh?" I nod smiling "She seems like a good change for you"

"Yeah" I am still looking at the door smiling "She's been great"

-Amelia pov-
I pull up to the elementary school and get out with Kaylees signature. I walk up to the doors and push the button beside them. I wait till I hear the lock go and I open the door walking in.

"Hi I'm here for a Kenzie" I hand the desk lady the paper that Kaylee wrote on "Her mom was with my daughter getting chemo so I came"

"Aren't you just a saint?" The sarcasm comes off strong "I'll be back"

She gets up and walk through a door. After a few minutes she's back with a small blonde child. The girl has a backpack on and is carrying a small bucket.

"Please make sure they bring the bucket back" I glare at the lady "I deal with angry people all day that doesn't affect me"

"Have a nice day" I grab the girl's free hand "Let's get you to your dad"

"Mommy send you?" I look down at the Kenzie and nod "You must be a nice lady for her to send you"

"I'm trying to be" I open the back door for her to get in "Now where does daddy work?"

"He works in a tall brick building!" The girl smiles and her eyes sparkle "It's got so much computers! It's so cool!"

"I bet it is" I can't help but share her excitement "Do you know the name?"

"Uhh" She looks at the back of my seat before speaking "Oh! It's the Commercial building!"

"Commercial building?" I think about what her could possibly be thinking "Is he a official?"

"Yeah he got picked by people" for a sick child she sure seems happy "I like the people there"

"That's good" I close the door and get in starting the car "Now buckle up so we can get you to your dad"

After I hear her buckle she cheers and we are off. So far it's no been too bad of a day!
