12. Betrayal

Here you go guys! This is one of my favourite chapters ive written so far i dont even know why.

You walk to the cafeteria, your hand intertwined with Tendous.
'Is she holding Tendous hand?!'
'Did you see the post Riko posted?!'
'Omg they kissed didnt they?'
'Are they dating?'
'Wait are those matching bracelets?'
'Ngl hes kinda cute with hair down...'

There were all these comments but you didnt care.
You sit down.
'You two are the center of attention today.' Goshiki says to you as he stuffs his mouth with food.
'Goshiki, manners.' Semi says.
'Your such a mum semi semi san'
He frowns.
'Wheres Yamagata and Ushijima?'
'Yamagata got stuck up a tree again and Ushijima went to help him down.' Taichi says with an eyeroll. You facepalm.
'Does that kid ever learn?! Thats the third time this week!' You say.
You start chatting for a while.
'Semi semi, whats up with you and Riko san?' You say.
'We're going on a date tonight.' He says while fiddling with his fingers.
'Aww how cute'
'Thats funny me an y/n are going on one too!' He puts his arm around you.
You stop on his foot under the table.
'I never said yes, dumbass'
'Owowowww y/n!!'

You were chatting for a while until someone got the whole cafeterias attention.
Oh shit it was sakura.

She stood on the table getting everyones attention. And what she was saying was stuff about you. Stuff about you from junior high. Your crushes, how you got suspended this one time, all the stuff you did back then. She was spilling all the secrets you told her and all the nasty stuff you did to people. You try to hold back your tears but you couldn't. You stand up and run away. Your heart stung. She betrayed you. This never would've happened if i had never met Tendou. You run off to you locker room and sit there for a while, crying. Your hear footsteps. 'Y/n?'
'Go away Tendou i dont wanna talk to you this is all your fault i never should've spoken to you!'
'Wow you think im Tendou how flattering.' You see Semi. You run up to him and hug him.
'I knew if Tendou came you would've pushed him away without listening to him so i came instead.'
'Why did she do this?! She was my best friend in junior high. She did this because of Tendou. If i had never talked to him this never would've happened' you said through your tears, crying even more.

Semi stroked your hair. 'Now now y/n, If you never met him, you wouldn't of met the rest of us. You've changed all our lives for the better. Tendou loves you. You stood up for him when no one else would. You loved and cared for him. You cant leave us for something as trivial as this. We all love you, y/n' you burst into even more tears as semi makes a heart warming smile. He hugs you. The rest of the volleyball team comes.
'Y/n, im so sorry this is all my fault' Tendous kisses you.
You couldn't stay mad at him. The rest of the team looked at you two weirdly and uncomfortably. 'I wish i had a girlfriend...' you hear goshiki say. You give a little scoff.
'Dont worry bowl cut boy, just change the hairstyle' you wink and mess up his hair. You laugh when you see ushijima carrying a knocked out yamagata. 'Oh my god what happened this time?'
'He got hit in the head.' Ushijima says.
'By what?'
'By me.'
Everyone starts bursting out into laughter.
'I think I hit him too hard.' He says stoically.
'Bro he's literally out cold' you all start laughing as he wakes up and he notices hes being cradled like a baby in ushijimas hands.
'ACK!' He jumps out of ushijimas hands and falls weirdly onto the ground.
'IM SORRY I WONT DO IT AGAIN!!' He says putting his hands up as if he's trying to protect himself. You all laugh at the sight of Yamagata. I love them all so much i dont ever want to lose them.

'Same goes to you y/n.' Says Yamagata, still rubbing his head where ushijima hit him.
'Yeah!' Says soekawa.
'We dont know what to do without you anymore' says akakura.
'We all find you... pleasant' Taichi says.
'Yeah i guess you're fun' Shirabu adds.
'You're hardworking' ushijima continues.
'You're amazing y/n' Says goshiki.
'We all love you,' semi says.
'Wow i need to stop saying my thoughts out loud.' You say.
'You really do' says Yunohama.
'I love you the most though!!' Tendou says laughing and smothering you with a hug from behind.
'Yeah i know! Now get off me you redhead psycho!' You laugh as you try to tug him off. The bell rings. It was the end of lunch and you say goodbye to the rest of the team and head to class with Tendou.

You were walking home with Tendou.
'Dont forget about the date tonight y/n'
'I never agreed to that-' you try to tell him but he skips off happily towards his house.
You smile and enter your house.
