30. I'm sorry, I'll win

Hey guys,
This chapter won't relate to the story that much AND its got hella spoilers for Hoshiumi vs Hinatas teams so feel free to skip it.

'Come On their match is going to end if we don't run!! You say as you grabbed Riko and Aidos hand.

It was Karasuno vs. Kamomedai in the finals. They beat Kuroos team and were now going to beat Kamomedai.

Yes, Karasunos in the lead!

It was only by 1 point and both teams had earned a set. Hinata seemed to be jumping higher and faster tham usual. Maybe because there was another boy on the team just like him.

Hoshiumi Kourai

You watched intently as the boys battled back and forth. The game dragged on.

Wait is Hinata alright?

You look down to see Hinata moving much much slower than before, and it wasn't because of draining stamina

Hes sick!!

You run down the stairs.

'HINATA STOP PLAYING NOW!!' You scream from the side.

'IM ALRIGHT Y/N I CAN STILL PLAY!' His voice was a little weak and his face was red. You couldn't do anything else. You sat down.

This Idiots going to make his fever worse.

You sat there, worried about the outcomes of this match.

*timeskip*

A thud was heard from the stands. The orange haired boy couldn't move any longer. His legs were not responding. His fave was red and sweaty and he was weak.

You rushed up to him and knelt down, placing your hand on his forehead.

'Oh my shit your burning!' You yell.

The coaches from Karasuno didn't know who you were, but they see Suga, Yamaguchi, Kiyoko, Yachi and Tsukishima yell your name.

'Y/n! Take him to the nurses office!'
'No i can play!'
'No you can't Hinata!' You scream.
One of the coaches with black hair leans down to you with an ice pack.
'I don't know who you are, but since everyone else seems to know you, please take Hinata to the Nurses office.' He sat down and handed you the ice pack.
You nodded and ran off carrying Hinata.
'Y/n take me back im alright..' he says weakly.
'No your going to the nurses office. If you're alright you can go play again if the nurse says your alright.'

You see Yachi next to you. You quickly go to the nurses office.

'He can't play anymore, he pushed it over the edge.' The nurse says handing him a face mask.
'no!' Hinata says. The tears sliding down his face hit the ground silently.

'I want to win! I need to! My team needs me!'

'You should've thought of this before you went onto the court!' You retaliated.
There was a ring from Hinatas phone.

'Oh its Kenma.' He says answering the phone.

'Hey Hinata! I thought I could help. You can watch the match through my screen if you want!' Shoyo happily accepted and watched his friends.

Kenma had to leave soon and therefore Hinata couldn't keep watching the game. You two sat there.

'Y/n, whats life like at Shiratorizawa?' He asks trying to get his mind off the match.
'Hmm its alright. Everyone is just a bunch of crackheads but we have a great time.'
'Thats cool. I only hang around with Kageyama.' He says.

You talked about many things. There was school, volleyball, close friends, Nationals and much more until you got a call from Riko.

'Riko whats happening?!' You say turning your phone onto speaker mode.

'Y/n, Karasuno lost.' You were overwhelmed by shock. You ended the call abruptly. Even though there was a mask covering Hinatas mouth, there was a snarl. His tears flowed freely down his cheeks.

'I didn't want to go home yet y/n!! I don't want to!!' You grab his two small hands.

'I will win for you Hinata. And for Karasuno. I promise.'

You hug him and his eyes widen as he feels your body on his. He hugs you back.

'Thank you.... y/n..' he says through his tears.

I will win for you all.

I promise.

This was a short chapter i wanted to finish before i go back to studying. Hella spoilers in here but not 100% true.
